Mod Squad Update for the week ending June 16th

Cool. I was mentioned in the Mod Squad (and not in a negative way).

 

Well, Amazing, depending on which Admin you talk to, the response varies.

Vert- Takes us behind the woodshed and does terrible things to us.

CA- Makes us drink Guiness until our eyeball begin to turn brown and we have a scottish accent. It may sound fun, but it ain't pretty.

Nathan- Too horrible for words.

But afterwords, they'll probably PM you back and let you know that its been dealt with, and any resolution that has been made.

We've discussed this in the mod squad. We are not allowing people to post messages from Banned users. First offense will be an edit (as this one is) second offense is 24 hour spank. This is no different the posting as a sock. If IA has something to say, he can e-mail cbjedi.

The idea behind being banned is to prohibit interaction with the boards and its members. By posting things vicariously through others, you are defeating the purpose of the ban.

You shouldn't ask others to post anything for you, and you shouldn't post anything for anyone that's banned.

Okay, I will agree to that. Besides, the same point can be made without sending out notification that someone else wrote the post. Then what? Censorship on assumptions that this is not my writing style?

Liz, you know as well as i do that that was just a joke and it was not a banned person speaking through someone else.

I would think so. Its just something that's first come up this week, as far as policy making goes.
