I might be in the minority, but I like them.

 

Word, looks like that genius who made that well thought out petition may have done some good in revitalizing the Arts/Culture movement

One problem though. I think that the use of 9 different colors is by far too few. Please use the recommended 12-15 next time.

Hey, we're just getting past the titles DRAMA, we don't need to re-open the Stars DRAMA can all over again.

The Stars DRAMA was infinitely more entertaining than the Title DRAMA. Besides, we deserve stars, for one day. Is that too much to ask?

OK, a stupid question... what is all this about the stars? I seem to be out of it....

 

The stars were around a while ago (located next to your username when you post), and were automatically given when you reached a certain amount of posts (eg, 1 star=50 posts, 2 stars=250 posts etc).

Many people wore the stars as a badge of honour, and took great pride in having more stars.

This ideology, of course, led to great spamming of the boards in order to increase post count and get more stars.

The stars were eventually removed, but those that took most pride in the stars really didnt like this. There was more than a bit of unhappiness on the boards. There are still some that want their stars back.

Thats about it really. Just the usual DRAMA.

Damn right. When the stars were taken away I had three. I have lived my life in constant anticipation that one day I may see more stars residing beside my name.

Even when they removed the stars initially, they used to actually still be there, just not visible...but now they are only in WU lists.

Sorta...but it would be next to the name, instead of underneath....sorta near where the "Date Pposted" writing is.
