MOD Moderator Announcement - Please Read!

Never really talked to her much but it is always sad to see a good moderator step down, hopefully she can find the time to hang out as a disgruntled oldbie.

 

I've a few questions if I may.

1. is she retiring permantely?

2. does this forum really need 2 moderators anymore? since the forums aren't accepting new users atthe moment, and we're all close friends in swc

3. I get nervous when there are new mods as they might not be familiar with my posting style and irritation with typing that can show in my posts.

 

Don't worry Sistros, I'm sure Sinre will find someone close to home to look after us all

Seriously though, I had a feeling this was coming since you're pretty much at the 'school or die' part of life that we've all either faced or are yet to face. The bit before University where the grades are pretty damn important. It happens to us all. But there is life at the end of the tunnel. I know, I've been there.
So good luck with school, and keep popping in so we can keep you all (in)sane.

I'm in my final semmester of University now, and have a dissertation to write.

 

Well I'm sad to see QGR go. I am confident that new Mod will fit in. The SWC is welcoming to all.

 

I don't have much to say except thanks for the kind words, the memories, the explosions, and the cardboard cutout weddings. And I promise not to be a stranger.

I'm retiring for a while, meaning more than a short time, less than a long time, and probably not forever. And I wouldn't worry about the new mod (if we have one; I don't know if we necessarily will) misunderstanding your posting style. We have plenty of interpreters on hand if necessary.

Yeah, I've tried to hold on as long as possible, but it was becoming inevitable. It's great to know people who've been through it, though, because it almost lets me believe I'll get out of here alive.

 

I've said it elsewhere, but I'm going to MISS YOU!!! You have to stick around and post; it's not an option

 

I understand that in these times, there must be immediate action.

QGR was among the first people and mods I met when I first arrived here! Not to mention she adopted me as a youngling!

I hope it's not too late to say that I'll miss her...my adoptee and first Master...
