The Mandalorian Moff Gideon (Spoilers)

I don’t think there is a whole lot of Mandalorians to unite. So yes

 

Guarantee we see Sackhoff as Bo Katan next season.

 

You think she is dead or alive?

 

Either she’s dead and we see her in a flashback, or she’s alive and in exile (or prison).

 

She would be about mid 60s by now so not impossible for her to play as she is (almost 40) although I guess you could never have her take her helmet off but that was never something she didn’t do before.

 

They could age her with make up to give some wrinkles and graying hair.

 

Even though I like Bo Katan as a character I much prefer if Gideon killed her. Makes him more badass

 

Woody Harrelson killed her.

 

I am really hoping he is NOT part of the FO. I want to see him as more an independent warlord like Krennel from Isard's Revenge. Someone smart and ruthless enough to hold onto his own little fiefdom.

We shall agree to disagree....I would prefer the fight ended with her losing...and Fenn Rau gets her out of there right before he kills her. They come back down the line and assemble a group of Mandos to take him out and she beats him...beginning the re-unification of the Mandalorians. We see the story told thru Din Djarin's eyes.

 

Also her reuniting Mandalore for the third time sounds boring. I would much rather that be Din doing it

 

I have said it elsewhere...but I think Din being the one to do that just takes Boba's story from Legends and puts it on Din. Let him have his own story and not rip off Legends for it.

 

All he wanted to do was play the valachord... enjoy the little things.

Gideon likes ambushing and shooting people in the back, including his own..personally I think he's a numb-nuts during this outing not any kinda badass just cause he has the darksaber.

 

So you think Katan just give it to him? No way she would give it up

 

If he's not an Inquisitor, there is any number of ways he could've taken it from her or her dead body, including capturing and executing her or just capturing the sword. Does not mean automatically we have to assume he dueled her for it.

Neither Sabine nor Bo-Katan ever earned the sword anyway in a duel, Ezra stole it from Maul's museum.

 

Ezra really should have stolen more stuff from Maul's museum.

 

That was the only thing of importance there.

 

There was a Beskar helmet there from one of Maul's Supercommandos. I guess Ezra is more interested in Imperial headgear

 

Let’s be honest we would all go for the darksaber over the helmet

 

I didn't even think of that! That's an awesome idea since we could see an epic fight scene in the process. Big props to the show for getting GE too, shows promise.

 

Technically Obi-Wan is the rightful leader of Death Watch.

 

I hope so, if only you can't really have him running around with the darksaber without knowing how he got it. I'm hoping for a Bo Katan/Moff Giddeon showdown, or at least him taking the saber would demoralize her and he can say he's King Mandalore cuz he has it or something.

Also Bo Katan has no problem taking off her helmet! And then someone can explain why, dahhh!

 

I'd love to see Moff Gideon have a very small Force ability. Like Kyle Katarn, but evil. This is a concept that hasn't been explored enough in the films yet, or TV really. The idea of a Force user with limited ability who still has a huge yearning to Jedi or Sith.

This could provide an interesting motive for his need to have Baby Yoda. He wants to try to inject himself with Force power.

Having the dark saber suggests this possibility.

 

Love Giancarlo in Breaking Bad, so I was really happy to see him in The Mandalorian; as a Moff, no less. The reveal of the Darksaber was the icing on the cake. Hyped for Series 2 and Dyn's face-off with him.

Also RE: Witwer's tweets, seeing Maul in S2 or S3 would be crazy! I wish he'd had more than just a cameo in Solo.

 

Didn't even think about that. Yeah, wow, Maul's totally an option for this in flashback. I could actually see them doing that.
