    Brisket... and tacos... brisket tacos.

Holy paradigm shift, Batman, this changes everything!

[face_love] Marry me, thou who madest the brisket and the tacos cleave unto one glorious delectable morsel.

Seriously, I need to find these. I'm hungry just thinking about it.

*staggers in with a mug of tea and boxes of baked goods*

Just a few more hours and our first tap festival of 2019 is in the books. I’m exhausted and I didn’t even put my taps on. :p

Hello, every one. Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a very private man and a moderate Star Wars fan whose favorite character is probably Qui-Gon Jinn. My favorite movie is ANH. I guess that's about it, for right now. Hope to talk to all of you, eventually!

Hi, @Frisco. When you watch a Star Wars movie, is it privately?

I saw Revenge of the Sith multiple times, because friends insisted on taking me, for example. So, I wouldn't consider Star Wars to be an exclusively private affair! But I'm alone during any rewatch of it when I'm at home, usually. And "hello," yourself, Ava! Thanks.

Welcome to our humble forums. Have you read any of the Star Wars novels?

Thanks, Nehru-Amadala, very much! The only Star Wars novel I've ever read was the novelization of A New Hope, to be honest with you - it has lots of pictures in it.

There are tons of books that I recommend, ranging from guides to proper novels.

I'd suggest Thrawn, Bloodline and the Aftermath novels. The rest are quick and informative, but those are the best.

Picking up on what Ishy said, anything by Tim Zahn would be the best place to start. Also, the DK guides and the handbooks are highly recommended. I am actually at a Barnes and Nobel right now, preparing to read a DK guide and drink hot cocoa.

Thanks DarthIshyZ & Nehru-Amadala -- I just never thought about the novels, a great deal before, but you guys have given me food for thought on that. And it's appreciated!

Tales From Jabba's Palace, The Courtship of Princess Leia, and the Correllian Trilogy are all pretty good. I also recommend The Rise of Darth Vader, and Lords of the Sith.

Hi, Cowgirl Jedi -- thanks for those, the titles sound intriguing. I could only imagine what the palace walls of Jabba's might have to say - the daily abuses, the routine betrayals ... I'm almost afraid to find out, now, knowing that I finally can.

The short story anthologies are excellent read, but the Thrawn novels...

Well, you get the Star Wars version of Sherlock Holmes, Gibbs and Amy Pond in the original Thrawn trilogy.
