Most Hated Characters

I love nice positive threads.

 

Some people absolutely hate Anakin Skywalker

That's true... now he's one of my favorite characters, but for awhile there he really got on my nerves. I don't like him much in TPM and AOTC he was a whiny annoying teen, but I've come to realize that most teens are like that and the characterization makes sense. But yeah, a lot of people hate him.

I don't care for him that much myself, but I have heard the term SW would be perfect if it weren't for all the Skywalkers.

I dislike Yoda a lot! Lying old green troll. He should die - oh, wait, he did...LOL.

I like Jacen, though. I'm not that fond of Padme other than as a plot device or someone that Anakin can talk to. I'm much more fond of Leia - she shows real character.

 

I hate whoever it was that Bea Arthur played on the Holiday Special.

 

I think Siri and especially Tahl should be on the list. Need a little Pre-Era here. Tahl in my opinion is a walking plot convenience; she existed only to cause Qui-Gon, and therefore, Obi-Wan, angst.

I've no use for Tenel Ka. None. Zippo. Take out Ta'a Chume and Borsk Fey'lya while you're at it, too.

For me, I really have no love for Jar Jar, and I don't have love for any NJO characters (sorry, never read them enough to care).

I don't know if she counts, or not, but I don't like Bastila either.

 

You know, I'm not much of a fan of her either.

 

I think that Mara Jade and all the Solo kids should be sealed in a box and flung into the fires of Mount Zahn, from whence they came.

Kill Jagged Fel, Danni Quee, Tsavong Lah and all of the Yuzzie scarheads and I'll be happy.

Throw in Borsk, Ta'a Chume and Jar Jar and we'll be all set.

 

I'm with ophelia- you can toss out any of the future Skywalker kids and Mara.

Though Mara has began to grow just a little bit on me...

But yeah, anything out of the post ROTJ can be tossed out, in my opinion.

See how one person's hated character is another's loved one. I adore JA Qui-Gon and I'm a big fan of Mara.

 

Reading through this thread, I've decided that all of the characters should be killed and we will just have pretty planets with no life. Work for ya'll?

-RebelScum-, personally, I think you'd be better off just killing off the characters you don't like, not the characters everybody else doesn't like. Much easier that way. Leaves you a few characters to work with at the end.

 

Are any of these characters worth hating? After all, they're only fictional characters. Granted, when you write read and write fanfic there is a strong temptation to yell at the computer screen over things some characters do...

Still, I only strongly dislike some of these guys, because you know what they say about love and hate...

 

I couldn't work up a real hatred of any of these characters . . . it's really more like a resigned irritation. They're sort of like annoying step-relatives who you don't really want around, but you know are never going away.

I can't think of a single Star Wars character, Films or EU, that I hate. Because, for the love of the Force, they're fictional!

Now, I know this is about a humor fic, but I've been around long enough to know where threads like this go. If we can keep if humorous, it?ll be a miracle. Do we not have enough dissention in FF Resource already?
