I'd go with Aphra first followed by Sloane. Oh and I want to know more about Cassian.

Well, Grand Admiral Sloane has appeared all through the media of Star Wars. She's mentioned in Battlefront, Phasma, Aftermath, A New Dawn, and apparently founded the First Order until Snoke took it over.

She's the genderflipped version of Pellaeon.

Ciena Ree and Thane Kyrell have their own manga adaptation as well as a very successful novel.

Aphra is a very successfully received side character and has appeared in a spin-off video game as well.

Yeah, the minute I first saw Snap, I knew he was gonna be the sequel trilogy's analogue to Wedge Antilles, with all the Stackpole and Allston-esque adventures to ensue.

I was actually just thinking that, among the new canon movie characters, I think Poe is probably the most well developed. We not only have information on his parents and lives, but an actual story focused around them; we know when he was born, details on where he grew up and what his early life was like; two books and an ongoing comic about his pre-TFA career and life; between the TFA novelization and that Poe issue, we have information on what he was doing offscreen during the movie, which I don't think we do for pretty much any other character.

Actually, in that context, Phasma of all characters is also one of the more fleshed out nu-movie characters, if only because she has such a minimal role in the movie itself, but from the comic, her own novel, and the Poe comic (again) we essentially know the arc of her life. I still do think it's funny that the Phasma comic was hyped around "find out how she escaped the trash compactor!" but it opens with her having already escaped from it.

I personally don't find either of those two characters interesting. Believe it or not, I like all the Solo characters better. Beckett is pretty cool, as is Val, Rio, Qi-Ra, young Han and Dryden Vos. Even if we know little about them

I really want a sequel to Solo.

Which is ironic given its financial bomb status.

Love Krennic, but the smart schemer of Catalyst was so much better than his movie persona. Catalyst Krennic was a fantastic villain.

I feel like the movie would be much better without Tarkin taking Krennic's thunder.

Agreed, I liked Rogue One but I think it would've been better if Vader and Tarkin weren't included. They didn't really serve a purpose save for nostalgia bait.

    I don't agree on Vader but there's a redundancy.

Vader makes Krennic look weak is fine.

Vader and Tarkin just removes any villain menace he has.

I love Krennic because villains in real life are often petty, stupid, and overly self-important. Having Tarkin and Vader put him in his place just emphasizes that.

I like that Krennic showed the bureaucracy of the Empire and how poodoo always rolls down hill.
