    Well you better behave yourself at Shepperd centre then...

    I.O.C. is right across the street...

    (Beware the wrath of C-50...)

    "Alpha 4 we have obsessed Star Wars fans in the food court...Running around with thermal detonators....Better call for a 10-100...."

    *And with that, Ray and Carl bolted from their offices to respond*

    I talked to C-50 last night. He would just probably laugh at me if he had to come for something like that. Well maybe not but anyways Im not too worried. Even though I am not liking going that close to the head office.

    Guard;

    "Is there anything I can say or do to get you to leave the mall sir?"

    Obsessed;

    "You don't need to have me leave."

    Guard;

    "Please stop waving your hand in my face sir."

    Obsessed;

    "You DON'T need to have me leave."

    Guard;

    "That's it! Your barred..."

    LOL
    When we lined up at the York for Phantom Menace, a couple of cops swung by to answer the age old question of "How many Star Wars fans can fit in the back of a squad car."

    When some members of the 501st did a brief appearance in front of the York, the driver of a passing fire truck belted out on their loud speaker "THERE'S ONE - SET BLASTERS TO STUN"

    Generally the authorities treat us with mild amusement. It's the people with eggs we have to worry about - though they have the aim of a stormtrooper.

    ( "Now don't get jittery, Darth2 . . ."
    "-I don't know!--fly casual!" )

    I can't remember ever being at the Sheppard Centre food court, so if you see a power droid *Gonking about* on an escalator turning uncertainly this way and that, perhaps speaking Bocce or some other unintelligible Droidspeak *Gonk--Gonk--Gon kestia koya jey* to other J-Mark Dopplers. . . please point me toward the food court.

    (Forgive me this babbling little psychotic episode - - I been reading AdamStuff lately.)

    ( I wonder if that Adam hasn't developed a bit of a flutter. )

    *GONK!*

    Eggs are good if you can catch them without breaking them. or if they are not rotten. Rotten tomatoes are what ya got to watch for. even if you catch em they still can be messy.

    I would like to see kevin the tactical communication teacher try to out wit areal jedi. Kevin can put anyone in a trance. I lost it for awhile in class.

    Kevin: Sir you have two choices, you can put down the lightsaber and leave. or you can walk away after you put the lightsaber away.

    (sizzle.... arm gets cut off)

    Kevin: That was not one of the choices, Now sir I will state those again, from back here.

    lol

    Kevin;

    "Now this;"

    *Presents glossy black tonfa stick*

    "Is what`s called a PR-24. Can anyone tell me what P.R. stands for?"

    Mace;

    "Protective restraint?"

    Yoda;

    "Resistance passive?"

    Obi-Wan;

    "Potent rod?"

    Kevin;

    "Riiight..."

    *Swings tonfa stick in figure eight motion and takes defensive stance*

    "The `24 designation reprsents the number of inches said device is-"

    Obi-Wan;

    "More is better."

    Kevin;

    "Back in the 14th centruy, the Chinese nobility refused the peasants the right to carry bladed weapons-"

    Obi-Wan;

    "Too-f&*#! right!"

    Yoda;

    "To Vandyke you listen!"

    Kevin;

    "Moving right along; The peasants utilized a unique device that employed the use of a wooden stick very similiar to the fiberglass sticks on your belts-"

    Obi-Wan;

    "Where do be put the batteries?"

    Kevin;

    "-On occassion, the nobility would conduct sorties in peasant fields for bounty, where resistance was usually quelled, however; some of the peasant community noted that by removing said wooden sticks from their churing devices, said wooden sticks made excellent defensive weapons."

    *Executes a series of theatrical motions with tonfa stick*

    Mace;

    "Impressive."

    Kevin;

    "Adopted by modern law enforcing agencies, the PR-24 is widely utilized even by civilian security organizations."

    Yoda;

    "A weapon for defence. Never for attack?"

    Kevin;

    "Depends. A PR-24 is used mostly for assisting in defence or executing the lawful arrest of a malcontent. Nomenclature;"

    *Gestures to short side of tonfa stick shaft*

    "This is the short shaft. Used for downwards strikes-"

    Obi-Wan;

    "Also called the teaser!"

    Kevin;

    "The grip, with the ribbed shaft and knob at the end is also called the ywara knob."

    Obi-Wan;

    "Also called the pleaser!"

    Yoda;

    Hmmmph! Obi-Wan YOU ARE A NOB...Get it Mace?! Ywara..You are...Hehehehe...."

    Mace;

    "Most amusing master."

    Kevin;

    "The long part of the shaft is often called the striker-"

    Obi-Wan;

    "And that`s just used by the downright greedy!"

    Kevin;

    *Sigh*

    "There`s one in every class..."

    Maybe you guys are already aware of this but I thought I should post this here.

    The Ontario Classification Board has classified the AotC trailer as "PG" and will not be playing with "Ice Age", in Ontario, as it is rated "Family".

    Hope you have really great home theatres so you can load it off the internet and play it that way.

    But the breathing trailer had different content than the Clone War trailer. VERY different content actually.

    How different?

    Stars, lasers, people fighting, and a errie soundtrack...

    Both had that.

    What? Such lines as "Destroy the Sith" too contriversial for a three year old?

    Besides, last time I checked ALL trailers get that green "Approved for viewing by all viewers" so to speak...

    breathing had a couple of scenes and the only thing close to an actual conflict is a 2 second thing of Anakin vs dooku which isn't even clear. The Clone War trailer is full of that battles.

    Hey, I want to see the trailer on the big screen. But by the looks of it, and what people have said it isn't so.

    Let's try another link. One of a theatre actually playing the movie, not an information site. Or, should I say, disinformation.

    http://famousplayers.com/showtime_search_result.asp?tCity=Toronto&tDate=3/16/02&tTheatre=209&tMovie=FOX0881

    Notice the (F) for "Family" under the title.

    Sorry, but at least you won't waste a trip. Or, then again, it might be a nice outing for everyone. The movie is hilarious.

    Ok - yet another reason for me to fully despise the Ontario Censorship Board.

    I've been to their site and found that the film is indeed classified as Family - no information could be found about the clasification of trailers. The rating of PG on Toronto.com could simply be a typo (although personal hope is that certain theaters voluntarily raise the rating to PG just to add the trailer... yeah, I know. Not bloody likely but one can hope.)

    I will head to the theater early today and determine what film the trailer is playing on. We can make a decision as a group whether we want to see Ice Age or take our chances with whatever its now stuck to (if it's in the province at all). Regardless of the trailer being there - the real point of it all is for us to get together, meet up with one another and have a good time. We can still do that.
