I'd love to watch ET again... after all, it's been a 20-year wait - haha! ;)
I'm also interested in seeing what they might have added to this version of ET.

Some other movies I'm looking forward to... and I mean REALLY looking forward to - Matrix Reloaded & Matrix Revolutions - released in cinemas in the USA in 2003.
That's quite a long way to go, don'cha think?? :D

I hope these 2 Matrix movies won't drain my finances as much as AOTC has - dunno if my bank acct can take the strain 2 years consecutively - YIKES!!

Matrix will be next year, so no worries right now. I'd like to catch Sum Of All Fears too, although I haven't read the novel before. Other interesting movies would be Minority Report and ET. :)

Looking forward, the next big movie would be MIB II. I'm not planning to watch Scooby Doo or Austin Powers though..

I watched ET this weekend. I didn't have chance to see it 20 years ago, also missed it on TV. So this is the first time.

Though a bit slow, SFX a bit outdated, it is still a very good movie. I enjoyed it.

    PANIC ROOM

i watched it today and jodie really kicked ass!!

Nicole Kidman (originally the lead actress) would have done a good job though...but well..jodie would have been a fiercer woman to fight with. anyway, nicole povided the voice over for the woman that picked up the call when jodie called her ex husband in the panic room.

i loved the movie contrary to what most of my frens thought. i held my breath thruout many parts and esp during the scene when jodie rushed out fo the room to search for her cell fone...oh my god~~~~

Watch it yesterday too. Quite a great movie, lots of suspenses and blood but I think it should had been labelled as PG-13 or NC-13 or R-13 instead of simply the usual PG as there's a **** words every few secs or minutes and lots and lots of blood.

I've just watched Spiderman (yeah, yeah, I know it's a bit late to be watching it for the first time ever, but I was too busy watching AOTC again and again and again...)

So what did I think of it?
It was alright, the effects were rather good, but they looked like they were very obviously animated, so not much realism there, more like a cartoon than a real-life movie.

I'm still wondering why it beat AOTC at the box office though, 'cos I still prefer AOTC to Spiderman any day :)

Then again, that's probably just me being biased in favour of AOTC :p

    I watched ET today...

Soooo TOUCHING! I cried during the last scene... when Elliot was biding ET goodbye... sob sob...

Hey, there were 2 Star Wars mentions... 1st being the Star Wars toys were shown in ET... and ET was amazed with the Kenner toys...

And 2nd one was this Yoda walking down the road during Halloween, ET thought he had reached "Home".... Hahaha!

    A Must Watch! Guys!

    Talk about ET being touching...
I cried at so many points during the show that I'm actually kinda glad that I went to watch it alone :p

Watching ET brought back a lot of fond childhood feelings for me... I watched it 20 years ago when I was a kid, so it did bring back a lot of memories :)

Like I can still remember how I felt when I watched it back then, and I still feel the same way when I watch it now - strange, but in a nice, warm and fuzzy kind of way [face_love]

Gosh, I can be such a sap at times! [face_blush]
