This is a fan club for anyone out there who loves the droids of the Star Wars universe. Whether it be R2 and C3P0 in the movies or HK-47 and T3-M4 in the kotor series. If you love star wars droids, here's the place to chat!

Look, sir, droids!

I love almost all droids from Star wars, my favourite being the one and only C-3PO, and HK-47.
R2D2 pwns too, and I also liked IG-88 and the legendary Skippy.

 

R2D2 is my favorite SW movie character!!!

 

He is especially great in ROTS, when he pwns the TF battledroids with flamethrower and when he acts like a Swiss army knife on the bridge of the Invisible hand.
I also liked him in the Dark Nest trilogy. He plays a really important role there.

 

R2 and HK rock! HK is possibly the best SF droid/robot ever.

 

domo arigoto mr.roboto, ah that's just awesome! Yeah - HK is my fave too, perfect balance between dark humour and just plain old darkness.

 

I love the droids from Star Wars; my favourite must be R2-D2.

 

Condescending Statement: Droids are significantly...better that meatb...humans.

Unneccesary Addendum: and droids "pwn" humans in a galaxy where humans control everything.

Well, I could join... if there is no some horrible initiation ceremony, like upgrading our brain with motherboards and graphic cards, or attaching metallic limbs.

oh! from the books...haven't read many of them...I feel if they're gonna tell a story do it with new characters in a new star wars tale rather than rehashing the old one.

 

Ah, but classic SW characters are cool in the books. Although Luke, Han and Leia are old now, so no more good ol' adventuring all 'round. *sighs*

But the best droid pair are still functioning after all those years. You shoudl read the Dark Nest trilogy; R2D2 plays a really important part in the story. And 3PO is the same old annoying-and-funny machine.

 

I love Star Wars droids. My favourites are 3PO, R2 and HK-47.
