Thanks Tim! I'm really proud of it, and all the nice comments I got on it made it even better :D

Next year I've GOT to get a room there though, haha. Even if just to not have to try to find a parking space...

Oh! Forgot to add- I've got my pics unsorted and unlabeled in a folder here:
    http://yarwood.org/kell/mscon05
Later in the week I'll have them on a page, but there they are if anyone wants to check 'em out.

Is it really Monday morning already? [face_tired]

Had lots o' fun this weekend, 'specially at the party Saturday night. [face_dancing] As always, it was great to see our friends from the 501st Southern Outpost. Thanks again for the hospitality in the "cantina" and for the live music. :D

That was a lot of fun, guys. I'm still tired from dancing. Obviously I'm getting old.

Not bad for a local con. It was great to hang out with y'all. Is it always the first weekend of April?

We definitely need to get an Old Spice rep to hand out free stuff in the gaming area. ;)

Dang- I knew I forgot to check on something!

Had a great time. We'll be posting pics on the BT site. Thanks to everybody that stopped by the room- and thanks for the pizza!

Lots of fun in the ball that night. "Hey baby- you ever danced with a fat-man in an overcoat?!"

I got a couple great shots of Chuck, Boba, and the boys I'll pass along for the SMT site. I wonder if the 501st band can play No Doubt's version of the Imperial March- guys, that would rock for next year!

We got a lot of great comliments on the BT art, and I saw blue buttons on just about everyone. If you were in the minority and didn't get one- you will! Muh-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!

Costume contest was great. That was a blast to get up there and do the skit.Dave wanted to kill me for giving him all the lines! :) It went A LOT smoother this year! Loved all the new SMT and 501st costumes I saw. I'd love to see all of the folks in costume enter next year.

I'll be posting a review on the MSC and BT sites later this week.

    Lin

Cool! Kell and little Amidala look fantabulous! Those are all great pics.

Who did the Vader? Was it the tall guy with the beret and goatee?

Jacob: Vader was Skip, who occassionally posts on the boards here. I don't know who the tall guy with the goatee was.

Thanks, Lin. I can't say anything, though. I was just a prop in that skit. Kevin was the star.

Not me. Audrey II and Seymour. I was the prop, propping up the puppet and all.

Kudos to Tim! Everybody notice when that voice comes out of him it's totally unexpected by the audience and they just ROARED with applause!! Awesome, man.

I've watched it 3 times today to ridicule my puppetry, and I think I did better than I normally have done in the past, because I only saw a few things that I should have done differently.

Anyhow, I finally got that off my chest, performing that song with that puppet, thanks to Tim, who still has $10 headed his way!

I still wanna see the George Lucas/Silent Bob skit, too!!! Anybody got it?

I know. I'm dying to see "The Silence of the Sith". I hate that we missed it.

Nah, you were definitely the star, Kev. I completely forgot you existed anytime you were performing as Audrey II. You are a damn good puppeteer. I should send that DVD to Henson's company.

Rachel's Amidala costume is great! Kelly, I think the collar on Kell's Leia costume might be adaptable for the Endor pancho.

    Rachel's Amidala costume is great!

Thanks Gina! That was Tim's first SW costuming effort. He made it for Emma back in 2000. It has a headpiece, but Rachel wouldn't wear it. Also, we didn't have batteries in it, but the little yellow bulbs at the bottom actually light up. :D

It's a Tim costume- of course it lights up!

I'll be bringing a cd of pics for Tim to use on the site.

Skip- did you guys smell good..? That's funny! I still think the MSC needs to see about getting Right Gaurd or Irish Spring as a sponsor! They could put little samples in the con-bags at registration for use in Tim's "Soap and deodorant are your friends" panel/seminar.

Man, I got back to the room and realized I'd lost an extra hour somewhere while we were at the party! Man, time flies when you're dancing with Star Wars fans! See you and the 501st at AdventureCon.

Hey it was great to see all of y'all again. Sorry for not posting more timely. Recovery from the con and work stuff keep delaying me that I forgot about my friends at SMT (which oddly enough is what we call my section of the TN Dept. of Health Internal Audit Office, of course for us that stands for "Subreceipient Monitoring Team").

Big props to the "Little Shop of Horrors" and the "Silence of the Sith" teams. Tim, I had no idea that was you until I ran into your wife later in the night. Traci, I diffently want to see those pictures you took of Alli dressed as Slave Mara Jade and I. We think your picture of her choking me will be the best of the lot.

Speaking of which my photos can be found here, just look in the MidSouthCon 2005 album.

Also was surprised at how many of you were at the TRU event. We arrived a little late and was glad to see that SMT was representing SW just fine and dandy.

Had a blast and hope to see y'all again at C3 & AdventureCon.
