JCC My dog rolled in another dog’s poop

my idiot would sometimes randomly stop drop and roll on other lawns during walks, no poop, but I figure another dog peed there.

 

Don't most animals just instinctively know not to touch or eat poop?

 

My dog likes to scent roll in fresh mulch so is always trying to ruin someone’s freshly landscaped yard. But also he eats deer poop when he can get it. Not often so it’s a real treat.

I can’t believe everyone has missed the painfully obvious explanation that your dog has become an avant-garde performance artist. The poop represents society.

 

Hmmm, perhaps then the next Tunes family dog will be named Tony Clifton.

This reminds me of a great episode of improv4humans where Jon Gemberling was a guest and he was arguing that bestiality wasn't categorically immoral. There was brief discussion of whether or not a dog understands that a human penis is the human version of a dog penis. It was decided that if your dog has seen you pee out of your penis, the dog understands that it is the same as the thing he pees out of. I think it's even more obvious to your dog if he sees you pee outside. There's just no way around it at that point.
