I'm ashamed to say that I'm just now catching up on this, Connie - and it has been my loss. This is very original and your OC's are fantastic. I'm quite taken by Stone myself... I'm a few chapter in and am loving it.

Don't know about a vacation in Mos Eisley, though, unless you're an avid sunbather. I had to give it up.

Stud's finally got his hearing back from the little accident at the store. Mine was better days ago... the doc said that Stud should avoid any loud music or explosions for awhile.

The construction at The Landing Beacon is almost done. We're almost ready to open, but there was a small problem in the kitchen that set us back a couple of months. Stud and I had an idea for a new dessert and, well... let's just say it took out a few of the new chef droids. Mr. T was just happy that no living beings were injured in our experiment.

He banned us from the kitchen for now.

Miss Lula is planning a big party to celebrate her new book that's being published. She'll be leaving afterward to go on tour to promote it, and if we weren't going with her for part of the tour I think I'd be really depressed. I mean, how can she leave at a time like this? I was so close to my Stone.

Stud wrote me this little poem to make me feel better:

I first saw him one night at the store
The man is truly hardcore

He's just so hawt that I almost convulsed
When all he did was check my pulse

Then my Stone touched me with his stethoscope
It made my heart leap like an antelope

My Stone was so close
Now I'm feeling quite morose

If only those silly Squibs hadn't lit up a smoke
Stone and I would be snogging beneath my cloak

Things have been so crazy here that I've been terrible at keeping you updated on my search for Stone.
Mr. T, Stud, and me have been traveling with Lula for her book tour. It's been very exciting and we've seen some amazing places!

Anyway, Stud is hooked on a new video game and stays glued to his datapad around the clock. Mr. T is thinking about putting him in rehab.

Tonight we are going to a party on Mon Cal, Mr. T told Stud and I that we couldn't bring any spy stuff and nothing flammable. I'll let you know how it goes.

 

I loled at the rehab. Sounds familiar in so many ways -- but not me. Yet.
Sorry I haven't been commenting much. Life's insane, I tell you!

I just stumbled across this story--love the idea, and it's so funny! You're doing a great job with your character's voice, she's got a very distinct personality. I love the "oh well" attitude to all her various disasters. Brilliant!
