I voted for 'believing Jabba was a really fat human'. I didn't know what he was exactly, either human, alien or whatever, but what I remember is that when I saw the OT after so many years, I was dissapointed about Jabba's body mass :p. I remembered him much fatter :(. Oh, and I remembered Yoda much smaller. I guess my mind tends to change the size of the characters ?[face_plain] :p

i shudder to think how much my toys would be worth today had i not attached firecrackers to them and thrown then off the back porch in mock battles with my cousins. *sighs*

    Vader lived under my bed.

Now I sleep in a drawer.

    He can't find me there.

How about, "Wondering where I saw the scene of the Chewbacca's family, only to realize years later that I had seen the Holiday Special in its original broadcast!"

Later I bought it on tape and man, you wanna talk strange? It's worse than you think...

I actually had a remote control R2, and it would make all kinds of noise in it's box at night! It was alive, and it was conspiring for something.

Yep, the one about Darth Vader was pretty weird. But I remember thinking that Jabba shrunk Oola, and then ate her... ?[face_plain] I was a little strange when I was little :)

Nowt as strange as that. My only recollection of my first viewing (when I was 7) was that the ESB video kept playing backwards...

Hey Apparition...don't feel bad... I thought the same thing about Oola....

Funny story... I was five when TESB came out. My Dad took me and my Mom went shopping. When she picked us up outside the theatre and asked me how the movie was I blurted out "Darth Vader is Luke's father!" Those poor people standing in line didn't know what to think. The original spoiler I guess....

Yay! I'm not alone in the Jabba-Oola thing! YES! I would play that scene over and over again, trying to see that thing that Jabba ate better, to figure it out.. o_O...
