Mysterious Cities of Gold

Anyone remember this cartoon?

It was brought to my attention over the weekend. This was the best, I used to watch it every morning before I went to school when I was wee. I even downloaded the theme tune (sad)

 

Not really.. I probably would if I saw it again... the title reminds me more of City of Gold and Lead....

Man, I remember legging it home from primary school with my best mate to watch it. Top cartoon.

 

I remember it vaguely. I'm sure it had a really annoying choon. Sing it to me.

 

I remeber it, it went on for about 89 series and never got to the end. Bloody programme I used to enjoy it when i was little but i swear it was still runnin when i was about 16, by then they had space ships and all sorts.

 

Eh? 39 episodes Pdub, and it DID end, I remember the last episode very vaguely.

I vaguely remember it now.... Jimson remembers it though... he's always going on about it. Sings the theme-tune all the time

Its funny when i try to remeber the tune all i can think of is the song at the end of monkey LOL

I can clearly remember the start with the monkey boy in a skirt jumping into the air

wow! this was a very cool cartoon..
wasn't it in poorly dubbed spanish? There were the classic bumbling bad guys who always arsed everything up.

This and Thundercats ruled back in the day!
