Spoiler First off, how did you get the book, I thought it wasn't out yet. Also, I've been wondering if they ever would address the whole Korriban/Morriban thing. I know someone in a interview said something like that but until it was said in a book I wasn't believing it. Or at the very least iffy on details.
Spoiler I guess they're the ones featured in art on the Official Site; the artist said the "Bogey Man" is meant to be a version of Vader, but the "Good Samaritan" is a more generic Jedi, though partly inspired by concept art of Luke. Spoiler The Fantasy Flight Games books have already stated Korriban is another name for Moraband, used in antiquity.
Spoiler It was at my local bookstore. I didn't think it was out yet myself and I was pretty surprised that it was sitting there. If you liked Legends of Luke Skywalker you'll definitely love this.
A picture of Coldoth: Spoiler https://swshadowcouncil.com/2019/07/19/star-wars-myths-and-fables-summaries-and-thoughts/ Spoiler I think the Wraith figure has a strong resemblance to Dark Horse' Infinities Vader and Hasbro figure: http://www.rebelscum.com/TACcomicpacks09.asp And the Sith king Adas from the EU: I think the laser firing arm is an idea inspired from Lego's EU Jek-14,lol.
Star Wars: Myths & Fables Author George Mann on Writing Darth Vader and Other Legends Of note, confirmation of something brought up in this thread: Spoiler Darth Caldoth, mentioned in Dooku: Jedi Lost, was created for this book, and Cavan Scott slipped a reference in to the audio.
Yup Spoiler: Gaze of Stone The Darth Caldoth and Ry Nymbis story, Gaze of Stone, was easily my favorite story from the book. Feels like a classic Sith tale, I would love to learn more about the duo. Possibly a comic series following them would be cool. Also seeing a Jedi with the shield was cool.
Just geeking out as I found out last night that James Monroe Iglehart (the original Genie in Broadway's Aladdin) did the audio book for this! Genie reading Star Wars fairy tales is just too perfect for me.
Project Harvester references... hmm. I definitely think that the results of whatever it was will show up in the period between ROTJ and TFA.
I'm hoping for some good gand inqusition from him. Also he was like Vader's main hitman and kidnapper for the empire. He was also like Vader an agent of the empire with out rank and high in the empire.
Given that it Spoiler has wings, I think that whatever the core of the story was, a lot of myth has crept in.
The art from Dark Legends looks like Amy-Beth's discarded TFU concept art for the shape shifter version of Ozzik Sturn that was inspired mainly from Chaney's Phantom of the Opera (while one version fused it with the Predator creature):
Finally got around to reading this. I liked it - wouldn't mind seeing more in the same vein. Artwork was good as well.
Yeah, that one was pretty good. I had a bad feeling that Spoiler it wouldn't end well for the apprentice .
