I'm thinking the wordcounts on the first page could do with being updated.

This novel is eating my soul though. It's kind of bad.

    Congrats, JediNemesis!

Moosemousse, I'd have to agree with you.

Got some writing in before I have to leave for work.

    Current word count: 35,448

Made a bit over the minimum today and finished at 40,231. I'll probably take tomorrow off or do very little as I have some stuff to do. Hopefully I'll make up by doing about 2k on Sunday.

I know what you mean about the novel eating you up. :p I haven't looked at mind since I reached the 50K. I'm scared. :p

I'm ending the day with 36,706. It's been a long one and I'm too tired to write anymore. Nothing on the schedule tomorrow, so hopefully that will help me get even closer to 50k.

Good advice; only I've now taken close to a week off. My local NaNoers are having a write-in tomorrow though, so hopefully that'll kick my ass in gear.

Focus vitamin water, FTW! I had trouble typing in words I wrote out by hand yesterday while subbing, then I started drinking this and had my highest personal word count--3,339. This brings me to a total of 40,045 and puts me two days ahead of schedule. Yay!

Finally figured out a good approach to take. 500 words followed by a short (or sometimes not so short) break.

    Up to 39621.

    Congrats moosemousse.

I am coming to the last part of my story and it's still expanding. But now Darth Sun is interfering again.

Write-in was worth it. I wrote 5,400 words today, bringing me up to 35,404.

I'm still behind, but not by so much now. :D

    Congrats, moosemousse!

The word count validator likes me. Word gave my count as 44,415 at the end of today's session. I saved the file as plain text and put it through the validator and that gave me 44,450. So I gain a bit!

    Congratulations, JediNemesis and moosemousse! =D=

I stayed up way too late to do it, and I'm going to regret it tomorrow, but I accomplished my goal of making it to 40K today. I'm now at 40,383 after a jump of 7000 words today, the first 3000 of which were like pulling teeth... 3000 teeth. All I did was write except for a break at suppertime to watch a nice mindless movie. I am now officially burned out and ready to stop for the night. I-)

    Congrats JediNemesis and MooseMousse!!!

    [face_dancing]

After 9,000 words today (which actually were surpsingly inexcruciating), I stopped and suddenly realized I had hit 50k. 50,301 to be exact. Yatta!

Still going for by personal goal of 60,000, but at least I'm back on track.
