National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) 2013! Over for another year.

Yeah, try not to wait til the last day to verify. The site has been flaky in the past on that day due to the load. I think the verifier comes online Nov 25.

 

Up to 43,085 today. The end is in sight!

 

35,436 words. I am getting closer. I still don't have a firm plot.

 

I've got something that thinks it's a plot but it's wandering all over the place. My guys tend to spend a lot of the time in the pub as well (MC is a silent partner in one so he has a reason..).

 

I'm over halfway done, and have the rest of the words in my head. Still need to transfer them to ones and zeroes though. LOL

 

I'm so far behind I'm not sure if I'll be able to catch up.

 

Made it to 45,111 today.

 

I made it to 37,295 today.

 

Had to go into town this morning so I took a break today. I might write some toward tomorrow's total a bit later though.

 

Currently at 9827 and I'm SUCK! I've more or less hit a brick wall I think that's all I might have in me. Due dates and exams are looming closer, so I'm thinking it might be in my best interest to focus on that stuff now.

 

18,436 today. At this point, I think my new goal is to make it past 25,000 by the end of the month.

 

I'm hoping to break the 50K either Monday or Tuesday. I've done some today but haven't typed it in yet.

 

Made it to 47,396 today.

 

Made it to 37,900 words today and two hours left to do more before it's bedtime. Still busy with a YT-1300 crash

 

I didn't get any writing done yet. I felt physically ill all day. I finally am starting to feel a little better. Maybe I will get some writing done later tonight.

EDIT: Okay, I didn't get any writing done yesterday, but I was on a roll today. I am up to 44,114 words.

I told my kids what count I was up to. The oldest said, "So do you have an outline yet?" I said, "No." He said, "So are you just writing random scenes with no structure connecting them together?"

"Ummm yeah."

 

Almost there - 49,600 today. I'm hoping to get to around 51k and validate tomorrow. Story isn't finished but I don't want to leave it too long since the site gets busy near the end.

 

I made it to 46,886 today.

 

Made my 50k and validated this morning. Also got my winner goodies. As far as the verifier goes, Word 2010 said I had 50,315. After saving my novel as a .txt file and uploading to the verifier I had 50,370. So I gained a bit.

 

Congrats! I am close. I hope to get it today.

50,295 words! No plot, no problem! Now to try to piece these random scenes together.
