Made it to 17,332 today. I'll probably write tomorrow but won't type it in til Monday afternoon. I need a bit of a creative break.

 

Great job! I wanted to make 75k my goal this year but I'm already so far behind. Just hit 5083 :-( Locking myself in my room the rest of the weekend to catch up.

So far, so good. I had to miss yesterday because my partner was using the computer for his research and I drew a detailed picture of a dinosaur which took all of my concentration. (Bad me...when I should be working on the story.) I've noticed a few plot loop holes (AHHHHGGGGGGHHHHH) which I shall have to fix after it is written. Mostly things which I should have added to the story but didn't. I'm making a list of those and I'm going to add the scenes after NaNo when I have time to think about what to write there. Mostly, the story does make sense. But combine this with the first part of the diary I've done already and I think this will be the longest story I've ever done and I've not even got to the Hobbit part yet. Anyone writing Tolkien fan fic must be mad!

If I hit around the 15,000 mark today, I shall be happy. If I'd not had a few bad days this week, I'm sure that I would be on 20,000 by now.

Totals updated. I did around 8 pages handwritten today but didn't type it in. I'll probably add a bit to that tomorrow before typing.

My roommates are still trying to convince me I can catch up... I only wish I could write that fast. They keep telling me I can catch up at the NaNoBoston 24 hour write in.

Anyway i wrote 1720 words, which is better then 0 words.

 

I didn't write anything on Sunday as I spent some 14 hours working, but since I'm a lurdo who almost always relaxes on Mondays, I expect today to be a productive day.

Totals updated. I made it to 21,371 today but I'm feeling a bit rough - I think I'm getting a cold.
However, if I get it my MC gets it too. Might as well get something good out of it..
