As I said in MS, I missed this the first time around somehow(during one of my hibernation periods when I wasn't leaving the Amp at all, probably), but I spotted it while doing some board tech stuff and tried to get in and was told I didn't have access.

And I've never gotten up the nerve to ask anyone about it because it just seemed like such a stupid thing to ask about.

"Um, Grimby, I know you're busy, but . . . uh, is there a reason I don't have access to the Pancakes and Waffles forum?"

 

Sadly, National Pancake Week does not change the fact that Waffles > Pancakes. Though pancakes are good, too, I will admit.

 

PANCAKES!!!!

 

I've found them most enjoyable when alternating between both. A pancake, then a waffle, then a pancake...

 

We have to delete the interim proceedings in here to protect everyone from seeing them. No, not to protect the posts from being seen. To protect everyone else.

 

Pancakes > Waffles by a wide margin.

Blueberry pancakes > Waffles by an even wider margin.

 

Pancakes couldn't fill the rear crevace of a below average Belgian Waffle.

No, but they could fill my belly better than any waffle, Belgian, Eggo, or otherwise.

You can cut corners on a waffle: Leggo my Bleh-ggo! You can't cut corners on a pancake.

 

This is the pancakes AND waffles forum. National Pancake Week is in the middle of February. National Waffle Week is in the beginning of September. Looking down the forum, I notice that just about every thread here has a last post date in the February/March time frame, meaning that this forum that is SUPPOSED to be for pancakes AND waffles is only resurrected during National Pancake Week.

It's hard to believe that such blatant waffle discrimination is still present in the 21st century.

 

Someone remind us when Waffle Week comes around, then.

 

Waffles are in this forum's title as well. And much superior

 

They only gained a share of the title after the great Eggo rebellion of '09. Nasty buggars.
