Despite his consant, obvious campaigning, I think he'll make a good mod.

Um, trust me, campaigning doesn't work. And don't mistake genuine concern for kissing up.

Ah, those were the days. I don't think that approach works anymore. My method of getting made admin would probably get one banned nowadays.

I promoted Sapient because he's online in the hours that I am not, he's been helpful to the other members and because he's helped me out in the past by notifying me of issues via PMs. No other factors entered into it.

 

So I wasted all that money on the fruit basket and season tickets?

Actually, I know the chances of my becoming a mod are so slim that I do this for fun.

I don't know too much about Sapient as I don't frequent the Padme is Hot!!!(PSA) board very much. From his posts that I have seen, he is a good choice.

I still say I spend more time online than him.

I know how to act, I just don't do it. Still, I could become a member as respected as Sapient if I actually tried.

 

Hmmm...after reading some of these mods' posts, it seems being funny is definately NOT a requirement.

 

Yeah, well. Our ways of amusing ourselves is a bit different from the regulars'. If you catch my drift.

I just realized this as well; the mods will not promote someone if they want to be because they don't want someone who wants power to have it.

I have a 22 month old son, THE best thing in my life. So if you see me logging on every once in awhile between the hours of 2-4 am EST, you'll know daddy's up with teething duties.
