*ok,so my call with my old friend wasn't really technically in your honor, but i am currently still very much in a celebratory mood, so !

It’s a day. A sliver of a silver lining of this **** show.

and this one day may turn into a few.

 

I did stock up on booze & smokes before tonight’s curfew... had to be done.

 

Besties, my older cat seems to like being taken on a ride. My mom now has a walker, and the past couple of times she's used it to go to the kitchen, Max has been on it, not jumping down until she got to the kitchen.

Figuring out 'Ace Of Spades' on the piano.

 

You can tell because he's playing for the high one, dancing with the devil, going with the flow, generally speaking it's all a game to him.

 

im currently that crazy person in the neighbourhood doing spring cleaning at 5 am. people who walk past my apartment just see a person climbing on kitchen counters. hope nobody calls the emergency room doc. i havent bothered getting to know my neighbours so they dont know im a nightshift worker. but seriously. you can get **** done at this time people. im so stoked. try it.

The only thing I ever want to get done at five am is just one more episode.

 

There's a five in the morning?

 

Besties my 12 yr old son woke up at 5AM with a tummy ache and he's now in the hospital waiting to have his appendix removed! Usually I'd be chiming in to say 5AM is a great time to go run on a hot summer day like today, but today is instead nerve wracking for a mom like me.

Usually it's a relatively simple procedure, I think, even though of course getting worried is totally natural.

I'm not arguing with motherly instincts, I'd be worrying too in your shoes. Especially with the current pandemic. But I did a little research, and the NHS suggests it's a common procedure and that he should be fine.

Don't know if that helps at all, but I'm still hoping junior has a speedy recovery!
