Clearly you should just eat the powder whole. Shovel great heaps into your mouth and wash it down with boiling water.
@cubman987 I'm sorry to hear of all the hard times you're going through. As others have said, no one can take away your memories and for covid I hope you feel better soon.
My son overcame three plus years of surgeries and months in the hospital and PICUs to graduate from high school on Saturday. He has a plan to get himself ready to apply for a four year college next year - will work and take community college courses this coming year. It was a tough slog for him. In 56 years I never faced any hardships remotely close to anything he endured in his teen years.
Hello besties, it's been a while. I caught my first cold in almost 2.5 years back on May 16th. I did take a home test (first time ever I've done that) and it came back negative for Covid, but I only took one test and home tests aren't as accurate as the...non-home tests. Felt a bit bleh for a couple days (scratchy throat, tired, very mild fever) so I took advantage of my company's actually really good sick policy and called out both that Tuesday and Wednesday. It was delightful. Slept in till 11, took long showers, and got caught up on some shows, all the while my cat checking up on me. It was two days of feeling a bit bleh and then just mild stuffiness and congestion for roughly a week. I'm almost 100%, just have a slight cough, but there's a ****ton of pollen in the air where I am. So, honestly, not sure if it was Covid or not, but I did make sure to isolate during the worst of it. Mom and dad are basically fully recovered from their bout with Covid. Thank god for vaccines and boosters.
So my brother signed his LAUSD contract today, besties, so he’s officially a teacher: . He better do well.
Sup? I’ve been in York all weekend. Check out this sign for some brewery up there. Tasty staff. One of the features of the place is attractive staff to look at.
Have to fill out background check information for my next job, should be mundane, but of course it ****ing isn't because I live somewhere other than the US at the moment so I get to sweat bullets about the residency questions. Now I just get to wait until the security department emails me back about my questions at their leisure. This, mixed with my tendency towards anxiety, "sucks eggs" as the kids say. They were his teeth, Mr. Dentist! He was #1!
Hey besties, I had a friend reach out to me, who I haven't spoken to in a while, and ask me to go to my local casino and sign up for a reward card. They then said they would pay me $2K cash for that rewards card. I was really taken aback by this request. Why would anyone want to do that? I definitely don't feel comfortable doing it.
