    Hi bezzies.

so my kids finished the school year yesterday. All three got “A” across the board in all classes.

Does this mean I’m an incredible parent?

    Too ****ing right it does.

    Onto 10th, 7th and 5th grade.

Also, have I mentioned we now have a dog? Did I tell that story?

I didn’t even mention my eldest is testing out of college courses at 15. But it is American college courses, so not much to brag about.

You are asking me to talk about myself in a roundabout way? How could I refuse!

Last year, around this time, my eldest was went to head start camp, that being prep for marching band in high school.

A suggestion was made that they walk outside at 5 PM during August to get used to the conditions, as they would mimic conditions during the early parts of practice for marching band, which would take place between 5 and 8 PM, almost everyday after school, and the four weeks before school starts (I know this already sounds insane, ****ing americans)

My eldest, who we will call Zoey, avoided doing the walk until the day before she had to go and do the High School practice.

She insists on going, and her younger sister, we will call her Zara, insists on going too.

Two minutes later, they are back, banging on the front door. I go out, and they have a dog with them.

I say they can put him in the back yard, we can give him water and try and find the owner on the next door app, or whatever its called.

It's dinner time, so we go in and eat. When we go outside again, the dog is gone. Happy days!

Then comes the next day. I am in the office.

I get home, and I'm having a cig in front of the house, The wife drive arrives with the kids. She opens the back of the car, and out pops the dog.

While I was at work, the girls had found this bastard in the same place as before!

But now he has a name, thanks to Coco; Dante. Because, as I was told, if you name a street dog, you have him for life.

I tried to upload pics of him, but have completely failed. So just picture a 60lb ******** 95% black lab.

My dogs seem to think they’re my master.

Yesterday the mister rescued a tiny kitten that had crawled up into a forklift and gotten itself stuck. Within two hours we secured an adopter that is now bottle feeding the little guy.

Looks like something my cats would have turned their noses up at (or regurgitated).

So there's a church here called "Real Church". They picked up residents at the shelter weekly, and shuttled them to/from church. Well, the pastor of this church was sleeping with a member of the congregation and this woman confessed to the affair in front of the entire church. Apparently, he is going to resign, dunno. Just a random local church scandal I'm aware of lol.

Oh, and the kitties are getting big.

We did this with our babies. They were three weeks old when we brought them home. We bottle-fed for a week, then weaned them off and onto wet food at about 4.5 weeks.

The day we brought them home

They’re adorable. I wouldn’t have minded bottle feeding the rescue, but my giant puppy would’ve been terrified of a tiny kitten. She climbs up the mister if she’s on a walk and sees a cat.

I bottle fed my cat, who is now 6. He was four weeks old when I brought him home. I was able to teach him to eat from a dish about 2-3 weeks later.

    Him now:
