    She was premature and left in the snow, so I helped hand rear her. She's my little Stormy, and I'm a proud goat father. :p

    I’ve seen pictures of those spiked shoes thanks to my running groups on Facebook. Can’t say I’ve ever seen them in person. Around here we have to run at 6 am during the summer because it’s too damn hot the rest of the day.

    And it looks like I might be the only nocturnal bestie. :p I envy morning people. There’s not enough coffee to make me one of you though.

    All my pets have been sudden.

    Cat #1: When I was teaching high school, a student’s cat had kittens and she asked if I wanted one. When I went to meet them, I picked the one that did not want me to put him down. (This was in 2000, he passed away in 2015.)

    Cat #2: Another student’s family found a cat beside the road; they couldn’t keep him because the father did not want him in the house. (That was 15 years ago, he’s still with me.)

    Cat #3 and #4 both showed up on my back patio. Both of them died young, but spent the last five years of their lives with me.

    Cat #5 was left under a mobile classroom at work. He was only 2-3 weeks old. My boss fostered him for about a week, then I took him; I had to give him a bottle and wean him over to food. He’s a year-and-a-half-old spitfire now.

    Short version: abandoned male cats love me. At least until I get them neutered.

    Oh, I can be nocturnal, as well. I frequently have nights where I hap periodically, and am up for most of it.. it just depends--life with depression. :p

    Used to be a morning/day person for the longest time, but working overnights (mostly) at Target for the past 3+ years has turned me into a bit of a night owl.

    I used to be a night owl, but working has turned me into... Well not a morning person at all. My body wants to wake up at 9 and go to sleep at 11pm. So basically just a sleepy lazy person.

    She was originally adopted by a friend of mine, but the friend has 6 dogs, and Mei-Mei absolutely lost her **** around them. I was petless at the time, so I took her in. So glad I did. <3
