Wow thats a lotta content...sweet. i wish there was a kindle comic subscription for these vader issues for 99 cents a month or something. I expect the floodgates will open on post ROTJ as soon as episode 10 comes to a close...because whatever the overall reasoning behind the new story i am certain will make the gap we dont know about a lot more interesting. And of course any ANH to ROTJ era would be awesome. The republic era looks fun to..i think the comic has potential to be less of what the films were and more centric to the story while expanding it at the same time i hope.

Hmm, not seeing a lot of comments or discussion about Resistance. While i kinda get its Speed Racer vibe i thought it was a great episode and look forward to their place in the star wars universe. All this content that doesnt include legacy characters, imo, makes us more aware of just how oppressed or how the galaxy functions on these different worlds...some things are the same but nothings the same. I also like its racing theme which was a big thing for GL back then, and as a youngster i liked racing and this seems a natural extension of the Star Wars Universe.

    The salvager looks like
one of raiding pirates from the second episode of Resistance. If it is her maybe she is a undercover for the FO?

Glad he's gone, the Aftermath books were terrible and his Darth Vader annual #2 had a major continuity issue which he completely dismissed on social media. Hopefully they hire better talent from now on.

I'm not glad he's gone. He wasn't fired for his work at all. He was fired for his Twitter feed, and that's becoming all too common.

I seriously don’t know why famous people have twitter accounts...... all it provides is a gateway for abuse and a major cause of job loss!

It’s not really that big an issue. Look in the grand scheme of things about those that lose their jobs over Twitter remarks and those that keep working. It’s such a small percentage.

Most people understand that things said on the internet are there forever and as such use it appropriately. That or they realize they can’t realistically deal with online hate and they disconnect from it.

Many companies these days will have a social media policy where by you agree to not say anything that would bring down the reputation of the company of yourself.

It’s just a few odd people. If mass firings start happening then you might see more famous people stop using it but as of right now it’s not that concerning.

Me too. I found the Aftermath to unreadable. I did enjoy Bloodline and Tarkin so there is good stuff in the new EU novel wise. But Aftermath certainly wasn't it at all.

They should canonize KOTOR 1 and 2 then re-release them on the new video game consoles (after they fix part 2s story of course).

I finally made it through to the end of the third episode of Resistance. It kind of became a personal goal, like I had to give it that three-episode chance. Kaz is annoying, but it just being so boring is the main issue, IMO. So I think I’m done with it.

I had the same goal line and same result. I initially believed the show appeared a tad too aimed for a specifically much younger age group but it is Star Wars. I am gonna give it a go. But, I was limping to the finish line of the third episode. I appreciate the show for my daughter and her friends but it is clearly not built to connect with me, which I am fine with. The world needs Star Wars cartoon series appealing to younger age groups the way we had Droids and Ewoks.

I think it’ll get better as the stakes rise and the Resistance/ First Order conflict becomes more prominent. Likely a similar trajectory to TCW and Rebels. But honestly? I’m mostly just watching it for the visuals. It’s better on mute.

Vader gave Kreel a second chance and Kreel blew it on Crait. Not that i'm complaining that my favorite canon Imperial is still breathing, but why hasn't Vader crushed his windpipe, and where did he get a new green lightsaber?

a thought just occurred to me, maybe defeating Kreel once and for all is where Luke will get his green kyber crystal for RoTJ. I'd be much more happy with that than the elite SCAR Squadron getting their rear ends handed to them by a few PILOTS (still not over that...)
