According to what we're hearing, that's exactly what the live action series will cover.
oh wow this sounds really great.
isnt that one of the leftover jedi from Purge? the legolas jedi??? COOL!
I'm actually looking forward to the leap-frogging thing of Rebellion for 5 then Dark Times for 5. It gives them a chance to lock down both arcs so that they don't clash with anything else happing (ie. TV!) and also a chance to get some tie-in's too with Coruscant Nights for Dark Times and the new Tim Zahn book for Rebellion. All the while we get the steady run of KOTOR and Legacy, and possibly a third later on, so I'm happy as a pig in?? mud. Viva La Dark Horse.
Sounds like a lot of fun; October is too long to wait!
Labyrinth of Evil tie-ins? Awesome . I love it when the comics and novels meet.
It's nice to see that a relatively new character like Dass might be driving the new story. Quinlan was good, but enough already. I'm sure he'll get a new chance to shine in the upcoming TV series.
who was Dass again?
and what are you refering to with "labyrinth of Evil Tie-ins"?
Dass is the "Legolas Jedi."
ah okay THAT was his name. I thought it started with an "L"....
Cover for issue #2, though I don't know where it's from. Looking awesome regardless.
Time of Death: 10:25 Board Time
Cause of Death: Nerdgasm
Those are, of course, Imperial V-wings, but that freighter looks familiar, too. Is it an established design?
I don't think I've seen it before, but it looks like it may be CEC build...
COL SANDURZ: Lord Vader.
DARTH VADER: What?
COL SANDURZ: You're needed on the bridge, sir.
DARTH VADER: Knock on my door. Knock next time.
COL SANDURZ: Yes, sir.
DARTH VADER: Did you see anything?
COL SANDURZ: No, sir. I didn't see you playing with your sapceships again.
DARTH VADER: Good.
The ship design looks reminicent of the Mos Espa Ship that Qui-Gon passes by after taking care of the Sith probe droid in the deleted scene in TPM (was also a WTS canidate); though it's not the same exact ship type.
have we seen a freighter like this before?
BTW, the logo for "Dark Times" is featured on the cover of October's "Previews." Fairly standard stuff really.
NICE cover for #2
That's one awesome cover
Whose ship is that? Dass's?
I am not into comics, but I think I am definately going to get into this one!
when is that coming out again?
AWESOME!!!This serie has got it al! Sith, Clone troops, Stormies, Jedi, Ep 3 stuff, Original trilogy! Hope the artists wil come up with new clone commanders and clone troopers. And I hope there will be no Imperial Hands and Inquisitors in this one because vader can handle all those jedi himself!!!
This series sounds like it'll be great, i'm so glad i found a store right round the corner of me.
It's called a Nimbus. V-wing is a nickname.
a nimbus? like in Harry Potter?
*shrugs* Never read or seen Potter.
So, what's the expected overlap (if any) between Dark Times, Last of the Jedi and the live-action TV series?
This seems to be starting in the first year after ROTS, concurrent with Dark Lord to some degree.
Last of the Jedi, IIRC, starts a year after ROTS. And the TV show we don't know yet.
