    Hello everyone, I found this forum the other night and figured I'd give it a try, never been part of a forum so I'm not sure what to expect. I'm pretty new to star wars, I had watched the movies when I was younger but never gave them much thought. Then I watched the clone wars (the TV series) and have been in love ever since then. I've watched and rewatched all the movies and I've watched the clone wars and rebels. I've also been reading a ton of the legends books, and I'm loving them so far! Just wanted to say hi and let everyone know where I'm at and see if anyone had any good recommendations on where to go next!

    Nice. It’s been a long time since I read it, but I really enjoyed the Thrawn trilogy. If you enjoy the trilogy, I’d recommend checking out the canon Thrawn novels as well.

    There’s two trilogies of canon Thrawn novels (both written by Timothy Zhan). The Thrawn Trilogy focuses on Thrawn’s time in the Empire (how he entered into service and some key events that incurred during that time). The books are: Thrawn, Thrawn: Alliances and Thrawn: Treason. I really like the character of Thrawn, so I greatly enjoyed this trilogy.

    The Ascendancy Trilogy focuses on Thrawn’s backstory (I haven’t read these yet). The first novel, Chaos Rising was released last year and the second, Greater Good, is coming out in April.
