Ok, back to the theme of this thread.

Movies I've seen recently that I enjoyed:

Dune - thought this was an amazing adaption of the novel, can't wait for part 2.
Spider-Man: No Way Home - thoroughly enjoyed this, loved the ending. It opens up so many possibilities without tying him into the MCU.
The Batman - Absolutely loved this latest Dark Knight reimaging.
No Time To Die - As a fan of Bond since a wee lad, I have really enjoyed Daniel Craig's time as 007. Thought this was a great way to end his tenure. It also opens up the franchise to exploring new possibilities and fresh faces for all the major players.

Some movies I'm looking forward to seeing:

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
Top Gun: Maverick - been dying to see a sequel for the last 30 years.
    Jurassic World: Domination
    Thor: Love and Thunder
    Bullet Train

Saw Doctor Strange 2 the other day. I found that I actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Love the Raimi references to some classics and a familiar face popping up a couple of times.

Saw the teaser for Avatar: The Way of Water liked what I saw although I still think it's about 5 years too late. But being a James Cameron movie it'll dazzle the mind and the senses and have ground-breaking visuals.

LOVED IT!! The way they handled ICEMAN was dignified and respectful, amazing movie. Want to see it again!!

Saw Jurassic World, not the best of the franchise but I still loved it, won't go out to see it again, but will watch it when it's free to air or streamed.

Saw Top Gun: Maverick while I was in the UK recently and then again with my son when I got back to Oz. I absolutely LOVED IT too. Such a nostalgia trip, but well executed, the way they did Iceman and then the flashbacks with Goose had me almost in tears.

Saw Thor: Love and Thunder on the weekend, thought it was pretty good, not great. Though Christian Bale was amazing as Gor, stealing every scene he was in.

Forgot, saw Jurassic World: Domination wasn't that impressed to be honest probably a good idea now to lay this franchise to rest.

Adalia Edit: Please do not double post so close together, you can edit your previous post to add what you forgot.

I didn't really enjoy it either. I didn't like what they did with certain characters or story elements. Definitely the weakest in the current trilogy. It was nice to see the OG trio back though.

Jurassic World was ok, felt rushed and the ideas............a little lame. But it had the original cast there and as Sam Neil is in his 70's, I think he did a great job.

Loved Avatar The Way of Water. It didn't feel 3 hours long. The CGI was outstanding, very immersive.
