    New Sith Trials – Interregnum

    EPISODE NULL

While the THIRD SITH TRIUMVIRATE lead the fight against the dread lord TYPHOJEM, and his attempts to escape the netherworld with the help of the SITH PANTHEON, the business of conquest must continue. Worlds are seized, cultures are absorbed, and enemies toppled as new students are brought to academies across the regime.

One such ship, the REUNION, is a vessel which collects PEONS and delivers them to the Dark Lords of the Sith. Under the command of DARTH MANDAMUS, a new convoy of waifs and strays is being gathered deep in the UNKNOWN REGIONS…

    ---

    OVERVIEW

Welcome to the New Sith Trials – Interregnum. This game is designed as a waystation while the main plotline of the New Sith Trials enters its final stages. Reflective of this is the acknowledgement that people will wish to continue to play the game and as an extensive of the EUC Sith Empire, that new members will join and continue to do so and Role Playing is a key element of the EUC Sith Empire.

It is also appreciated that users from across the RPF may also wish to join.

However, as a placeholder before the second game commences, some requirements will be dropped including the point-based system of the New Sith Trials main game. Please keep in mind that as a placeholder, there may be added features to the true game when you reach this.

Please keep in mind that references to the Alliance, Empire, Republic and Jedi are to be kept to a minimal as this vessel will be focused upon recruitment in the Unknown Regions.

The GMs are Sinrebirth, Darth_wanderguard and Lady Belligerent, but Sinrebirth will act as your guide in these lands.

    Character Death

Please keep in mind that if you are a member of the EUC Sith and you die in this game, you will have to start over. Although ideally an overall uncommon occurrence, death can and will occur if the rules of the game are abused.

    Why Should I Play?

A fair question, when this is a temporary locale. For EUC Sith, you will find that roleplaying is key to your development and prestige is obtained all the more swiftly for your involvement. For everyone else, ferocious battling and brutal Trials have been a staple of the New Sith Order for many years and this game will be no exception. Participation brings many benefits and involvement is all the more fun if you know that you have somewhere to stretch your Roleplaying legs.

If you wish to join, please fill out and submit a character sheet at the bottom of the post to Sinrebirth, and copy in all of the co-GMs. Any posts in the game before approval will be edited out. Jedi and non-Sith characters will be allowed, and will be given ample flexibility to join and play.

Weapons/Equipment: Custom Cycler Rifle, Sub-Machine Slug Thrower strapped to lower back, trip mines, large knife concealed in boot. Fiber Optic cloak that adapts to the surrounding automatically. Multi-filter HUD-goggles capable of nightvision, infrared, close range sonar for seeing through nearby walls.

Description of Abilities: Expert at infiltration and manipulation. Astra's work as a Sniper augmented by her untrained Force Sensitivity makes her an unmatched marksman. Well-versed in close range hand-to-hand combat.

    Affiliation: None currently (Independent)

Bio: Astra was born on Coruscant's underbelly to a life of poverty. Her family, or what she called a family was a band of roaming scavengers that would move from ward to ward, stealing whatever tech they could strip from vehicles and passing droids before moving on to the next area. Astra was never in one place too long and as she got older, was used by her 'father' to distract targets as they raided their possessions. As she turned into an adult, she decided she wanted to join up with the Military, mostly to get out of Coruscant's lower wards. She completed her basic training and was placed into an Elite Military team known as the Wolf Pack with her call-sign being 'Red Fox'. She was an expert marksman and specialized in Sniping/Counter-Sniping. This quickly evolved into a splinter group that was used for assassination of HVT's under the veil of the government. Before long, she had accumulated more than 50 kills which she attributed to 'Luck' (Actual Force Sensitivity). With each one bringing her further and further into the outer rim. After making a lot of money, she eventually disbarred with the Wolf Pack (on her own terms) and settled on Taris' within the slums, hoping she would be forgotten..

    Biography:

During the rise of the Empire the Vahla people worked for Darth Sidious, the followers of Vahl helped hunt down the Jedi and exacted vengeance for the decimation of their people hundreds of years earlier. By the time of Krayt's Empire the Vahla had become a race of bounty hunters, much like the Mandalorians before them, only the Vahla were Force sensitive and dedicated to the Dark Side of the Force.

It was during this time that a prominent leader rose, a Priestess of Valh, Chosen to lead the Embers who served the goddess. To her was born a son, and he was raised in the faith and taught the most sacred of beliefs of the Vahla. His power was immense, he learned quickly and as time passed he outgrew many of his masters.

The last of which was his own mother, the Chosen of Vahl, whom was eventually murdered by his own hand.

By right of power he had taken her place, baptized by the blood of his kin, and blessed by his goddess as the new Chosen.

He was the greatest champion their people had ever known, and they flocked to his banner, behind him they were united for once and all. With numbers came the influence and might needed to carve out a niche for themselves within the Sith Empire, finally finding a home, on the planet of Korriban.

The unity and singular focus of the cult helped them rise to a place within Sith society where they were both feared and respected for the role they played within the Empire, Daerlic had wisely chosen to stay out of Sith politics completely and offer the services of his people to the highest bidder. The cult was now a powerful mercenary force within the Order, being employed by Sith nobles across the vast empire to execute enemies, track the movements of rivals, find rare and valuable objects, or any other task that a person may need done.

Through these activities Daerlic also began to deal in secrets, knowledge of the goings on within the many layers of Sith society, without anyone realize it he had rooted The Ember of Valh deeply within all levels of government and commerce and had turned it into one of the most powerful and influential organized coalitions in the Empire.

His most recent assignment has seen him stationed on the Reunion, and he is currently under the command of Darth Mandamus.

    TRIPLE GM APPROVED!

    Name: Darth Alekto (born Essami)

    Age: 25ish

    Sex: Female

    Species: Mirialan

    Occupation: None

    Affiliation: Sith (Class: Warrior)

    Height: 5'8"

    Build: Thickset, athletic

Physical description: Alekto is a tallish, large-boned Mirialan female with a roundish face set with prominent cheekbones and a tall nose with a slightly wide bridge and a septum piercing. Her lips are plump, and are tattooed to a very dark, almost black, green. She has deep, deep blue eyes and loosely curly jet black hair that has a bluish tint; she wears it longish on top and shaved on both sides of her head in the undercut style that's popular with some human males. She rarely styles her hair, preferring to leave it wild and messy. Alekto tends to have severe expressions, and avoids makeup. On her forehead she has the tattoos customary of her people, and she also has similar tattoos trailing down her first fingers on both hands, as well as similar tattoos on her upper arms and shoulder blades. Her body build is athletic but not overly muscled or toned, and she carries a healthy amount of chubbiness.

Clothing: Alekto likes to wear comfortable, close-fitting cropped high-neck tank tops, and loose, billowy harem-style pants tucked into knee-high boots. She wears cortosis weave bracers, a hooded cowl, and a belt laden with utility pouches. When not wearing her usual outfit, Alekto opts for comfortable slim-fitting trousers, any kind of comfortable shirt, and a jacket or cloak. Occasionally she will wear turban style head coverings. Alekto rather eschews fashion and "fluffy" clothing, and wouldn't be caught dead wearing a dress.

Weapons: Currently, a singular long vibro-dagger.

Description of abilities: Alekto is very athletic, and a lot of her skills as a fighter lie in her brute strength. She is skilled in the Force in battle applications, but doesn’t have the patience for alchemy or stealth techniques. Alekto has incredible stamina, and is a wickedly fast fighter.

Biography: Born as Essami, Alekto has very little recollection of her early childhood. Her memories begin around age 5, when she was turned over to her Aunt and her Aunt’s boyfriend to live on Florrum. Her Aunt was a raging alcoholic and her boyfriend was a spice addict, and as such, Alekto learned very early how to care for herself. She did not attend any school, and cannot read. Her childhood was angry and lonely, and though she was always able to quickly befriend others, her friendships did not last long as Alekto played violently and overly rough, and often inadvertently used the Force, roughly shoving or pulling at her playmates. Recognizing that she was different from others, Alekto would use her Force abilities for things like running, mundane tasks, and getting her way.

When Alekto was 15, her Aunt and her Aunt’s boyfriend both died in a drug and alcohol fueled murder-suicide. This left Alekto entirely on her own; Alekto soon found herself living in the streets of one of Florrum’s larger cities. At 16 she found work in a cantina waiting tables and washing dishes. This is where she met a group of other Mirialan when she was 18—she had been apart from her species for all her life, aside from her Aunt. Excited to finally meet others of her kind, Alekto worked very hard at gaining and maintaining their friendship. It was exceptionally difficult for her, and as she got closer to the group, she found herself falling for one of them—Biryam, who was slim, vivacious, and romantically involved with the group’s “ring leader”.

Alekto quickly grew insanely jealous, but when Biryam and the ring leader split, Biryam gave Alekto a chance. Alekto loved Biryam fiercely, but soon realized that Biryam was only humoring her and was spreading rumors behind her back. In a flying rage, Alekto nearly strangled Biryam to death with the Force before realizing what she was doing and fleeing the city. While in hiding, Alekto became obsessed with Biryam, her obsession transforming into a burning hatred and a desire to seize the female Mirialan for her own. Two years later, Alekto returned to the city after having spent all her time away training herself physically, razed the city to the ground while in a blind fury in pursuit of Biryam, and then, upon realizing what she did, came to sudden, awakened terms with her propensity for the Dark Side. Biryam and all others had been killed in the mayhem; after spending a day or two amongst the wreckage, Alekto packed up and left Florrum to seek out the Sith.

    All Three Approved!

Birth Name - Work in progress. Names are hard for me.

Alias/Darth Name - Darth Mallace (Mal means "evil" in French. Fun fact).

    Age - 29 standard years.

    Sex - Female.

    Species - Human.

    Height - 5 feet, eight inches/1.73 meters.

    Weight - 120 pounds/54 kilograms.

    Occupation - Sith Lord.

Physical Description - Darth Mallace has black hair, with white stripes laced throughout, adding more of a pop to her looks. She has pale skin, and eyes that are yellow most of the time, with black rings around them. Despite being lean in build, she has quite a bit of muscle hidden underneath, due to constant training from her parents.

Clothing - She wears a suit made for flexibility. Around her neck are multiple necklaces that she had grown a liking to collect - especially from some of her dead victims, if they happened to have one on them. She has a black cape that form soft shoulder guards, and flows down to the ground on her left side. Wrapped around her cape and waist is a small silver ring that tightens it to her better. She has a silver arm guard placed on the top part of her arm that protects her from any blaster bolt - which she will use frequently in any tight situation with blaster users. She has two identical purple and green gloves that go up to her forearm. She also wears a tight purple shirt that covers her waist, but not her shoulders or arms. A standard belt used only to clip her lightsaber is wrapped around her hips, and below that is a pair of tight, grey pants that are there for flexibility and agility. She has purple boots that add an extra inch to her height.

Weapons - Darth Mallace sees no use for "poor man" weapons, such as knives or blasters (blasters more than knives. At least with a knife, you can see and feel their final moments.), and opts to only use a single red bladed lightsaber, that is as standard as you can get. It features a wide, grey handle, with black stripes going down the body of it to add to a design. It features only one button, the on and off switch, and has no length adjusting knob that many lightsabers of the past had.

Description of Abilities - As previously mentioned, Darth Mallace has superb flexibility and agility, as it had been her primary focus during her training with her parents. She uses these abilities primarily for lightsaber and hand-to-hand combat. She uses her physique to her advantage, trying to seem weaker than she is, then surprising her enemies in a blur of slashes and kicks. But, since she focuses more on lightsaber and hand-to-hand combat, her Force abilities are not as top notch. She can do all the simple moves that most Sith can do (Lightning, Choke, Push, Grip), but she fails at the more advanced stuff that Sorcerers are able to accomplish (Sith MInd Trick, which can cause an enemy to kill anyone in your way, and eventually themselves. She cannot use the Probe Mind or Force Hunger abilities. Even her Force Scream is touchy and needs work. And, her basic abilities are not as powerful as some others in the Sith Empire, and are only on a moderate to higher level - on par with the average Sith Underlord). Despite that, Mallace does not highly train herself within the Force, and continues to prefer the lightsaber/hand-to-hand combat style. She likes getting up close and personal with her victims before they die, and thinks simply snapping their necks with the Force is cowardly.

Affiliation (Sith or Otherwise) - She is a Sith, and wouldn't have it any other way.

Biography - Darth Mallace was born into a Sith family, on the planet of Jedha, living away from any other Force user, whether it be the Jedi, or Sith Empire. Her childhood was rough from the beginning. She never made any friends, and was forced to stay inside, focusing all of her time and energy to making herself stronger. Not within the Force, but in agility, which was her own choice. From an early age, she was pushed hard. Pushed to use her anger to overpower her enemies, and win battles easily. When she was younger, she was more prone to a rage fit, breaking many household things. But, her parents did not punish her, unlike any normal parent. They were proud of her, seeing the potential that she had. She began to grow in power the older she became.

Mallace took her first life at age seven. She had killed someone that had wronged her parents in one way or another (the details were not explained to her). It didn't take long for this person to be found, and he was dragged into their home, tied up and placed in the center of the main room. Mallace was handed a medium sized knife, and told to have her way with him. Her parents felt that it was time for her to know what it felt like to kill someone. And, so, Mallace made her move, making the person's death as slow as possible, her parents savoring every scream of agony. Every drop of blood that splattered against the floor. Once the deed was done, the cleanup began. And it was a pain. It took hours, even for Force users, as the thickness of the blood had seeped into the rug, to get rid of all the blood, and make everything look as it did before. That was why she didn't like knives: the cleanup. It took too long. And if you were doing a mission that required you to be quick and quiet, that could be a detriment. After the killing, blood covered her clothes and skin. She needed to be cleansed, so that suspicions would be off of her.

During the killing, Mallace had felt nothing. No remorse. No guilt. No sorrow. No sadness. And this was a good thing. A very good thing,

The family thought they were in the clear. No one looked at the house funny. No one banged on the door with blasters, ready to shoot to kill (as stupid of an idea that would have been). But, they weren't. The police on the planet were called. Citizens had heard screaming coming from the home. There were a select few who knew that the family was Force Sensitive. Once being told of this, the police there sent a message to the Jedi hoping to rid the city of the Sith as quickly as possible.

The Jedi soon arrived. Two of them, to be exact. A Master, and and Apprentice. They immediately found the home. Sensing that there was a child there, they decided to take it with them, leaving the parents behind. Most likely dead. Probably not willing to cooperate. They burst into the house, lightsabers drawn, and a fight began.

Mallace stood back and watched the fight from afar, confident that her parents would easily win the fight. But, their skills were rusty. The two Jedi had killed both her mother and father rather quickly, not even taking a scratch. They turned their attention to Mallace, lightsabers off and on their belts, using a condescending tone that anyone would use to speak to a child. More so, because she was a Sith. The Jedi urged her to come with them.

She would not be doing that.

As she made her way to the Jedi, acting as if she was traumatized and scared, she reached down and grabbed her mother's lightsaber, her father's being cut down during the fight. She ignited it, and went to work, yellow in her eyes. She used all of her agility and anger to overpower the two Jedi, who were taken aback by the power that the "little girl" was displaying. In moments, the two Jedi were dead, one cut in three pieces (legs cut off first, then cut in half), and the other with a hole in his lower back). With her cover blown, her family dead, she broke the window in the back part of her home, and escaped into the shadows.

She made her way to a bar, and proceeded to threaten a passing traveler with her new weapon. She told him that if he didn't do as she told, she would gut him where he sat, and would do the same to everyone else there. Frightened, he agreed, stumbling his way to his ship, Mallace closely following, pointing the unlit lightsaber at his back.

The unnamed traveler few her to a planet of her choice. She had always heard from other travelers that Tatooine was free from Jedi. So, she went there. Once the ship landed, Mallace immediately crushed the life out of the poor traveler with the Force Choke power. No witnesses.

As she grew older, she taught herself how to fly, using the traveler's ship. It would be a necessary ability to have if she wanted to eventually get off the rock. It took a couple of years, but she was eventually competent enough to fly on her own.

All of that started when she was still seven.

She spent years held up on Tatooine, trying desperately to keep her true identity a secret. She made her way by through petty crime and gang violence, killing anyone who was foolish enough to get in her way.

Things were looking up. It seemed as if she was in the clear.

    Not anymore.

The Jedi must have learned their lesson from decades past with Anakin Skywalker, as they had showed up, looking for any potential Force sensitives to take in. Granted, it took them years to get around to it. However, they immediately sensed the dark presence there. And it didn't take long for them to find this dark presence. The pair of Jedi confronted her - the last mistake of their lives. She killed them quickly, leaving their mangled bodies behind, only grabbing her prized possessions before dashing to her ship that was close by. No one tried to stop her. They were too frightened.

As she took off, she eventually realized that she needed to go somewhere unknown to the public. Even by many of the Jedi. So, she set course for the Unknown Regions, on the run once again.

That was becoming a staple of her life.

She landed on the planet of Rakata Prime, suriving through killing and cooking any animals that she saw, and savoring any piece of food and water that she carried on her ship. A year passed, and no one had came for her.

But, she knew not to get too comfortable.

    Her story was just beginning.

    Affiliation: Sith

    Biography:
Shortly after birth, a baby girl with no name was dumped on the core world of Corellia. Subsequently passed around to several families during her early years of life, she began exhibiting traits and emotions most had deemed disturbing and unnatural to someone at such a young age, or at any age. The girl never lasted long with any one of her caretakers.

As her displeasure grew at being constantly shunned and increasingly feared, so did her strength in the Force. This resulted in frequent violent outbursts that most would attribute to mental instability. To a select few, however, they knew exactly what this child was.

During a year-long stay locked away in a psychiatric ward for the young and insane, the then 11-year-old was thrust into the care of a mysterious figure. He spoke of her potential in the dark side and of the Sith that would help her learn all she could do with such abilities. He never revealed himself to her, remaining hooded and removed from any personal attachment during their conversations and eventual travels to Moraband. That did not keep her from crediting him as her savior; rescuing her from a life without purpose and never-ending banality, instead lifting her into the hands of passion and truth.

And he had been the one to finally give her a true name.

“You are Leda,” he had told her with certainty. “The name of an ancient warrior Queen, it marks you as fierce, powerful, strong. This is not only who you are now, but who you always have been. Awaken, Leda, woman of war.”

Her arrival at the Sith Academy had been a new beginning for the young child, having never known her birth family, birthplace or given name. Showing promise from the start, she was quickly apprenticed to a Master and the path of the Sith Warrior was chosen.

Now at the age of 23, she has grown into a gifted acolyte who is always eager to continue learning or accept a challenging mission. Her skills in the ways of the dark side have exceeded even her expectations. She readily unleashes its fury on all who dare to oppose the Empire she would not hesitate to go to war for. Leda’s devout loyalty to her Emperor and the Sith that molded her has never been more solid and unwavering than it is now, even as threats loom large around them all with increasing frequency.

    IC: Darth Mandamus
Bridge of the Reunion, in orbit above Moraband

    The time was now.

While it would be pleasant to indulge in festivities, it was not the time or day for it. Every day that the Reunion tarried, the eight hundred metres of length, another Force sensitive was discovered, another Force user ravaged a world, another Jedi, cut loose from their kin, sought to find a Padawan and restart an Order.

Darth Mandamus had his eyes on a position of High Lord; he would obtain it by shaping the Order from the ground up, influencing the younglings and making them his. Those that the Emperor and his kin claimed he would not touch – though he might try to break them, as he had with the Emperor’s latest apprentice, leaving her in solitary confinement for several days at a time – but Mandamus, an aging former member of the One Sith, had made it very clear of his intentions to Darth Insipid before he had seized the throne.

    Insipid welcomed it.

Today Mandamus was to rendezvous on the very edge of the Deep Unknown Regions with a small deployment of shuttles and craft that he had dispatched to collect Force users from across their galaxy. As the Reunion and its dozens of bleak, austere rooms, and of course its half a dozen plush chambers for Mandamus and those apprentices who served him well, turned away from the Sith homeworld, the red-and-black tattooed man smiled softly, and turned to Darth Chouken, his ostensible subordinate. “I understand that Darth Leda was secretly conveyed to the ship in the food delivery. Perhaps on the orders of Lord Haretisch himself. Go be a good lieutenant and go find her, would you?”

Darth Mandamus turned back to the starlines as they streaked past. He had deployed a handful of assets ahead of them, such was the curiosity of the rumour he had heard. They had to reach Lehon fairly quickly.

    --

    The Hold

Towards the rear of the ship were a pair of hangars, sufficiently large enough to hold eighteen fighters a piece – though only one was so stocked – and the hangars fed into the hold and then to the rear was the engine room and to the fore were the dozens of rooms.

In the depths of the hold, indeed with the food delivery, was Darth Leda. Deployed by Darth Haretisch to keep an eye on Darth Mandamus, the woman had been tasked with finding the secret treasure trove of artefacts that the Night Herald understood had been hidden away from his various journeys. Chouken and the Lorekeeper were believed to be close allies, but how much of that was material manufactured by Darth Belligerent to get the Emperor to smite Chouken was unknown.

What Leda would understand, however, is that there were no artefacts of note in the dark and dingy hold. Just food that was all but stale, water that had been recycled so many times over that it tasted of nothing whatsoever, and all the good food had been shifted by black skeletal droids which looked like they should be at the front and not doing manual labour – upgrades of the infamous YVH droids, designed to look like the Yuuzhan Vong invaders while offending them; the Empire had began purchasing these in bulk when the aliens had came to the aid of the Jedi during the Sith-Imperial War nearly three decades ago – the war which had sundered the Galactic Alliance, saw Darth Krayt seize control of the Empire, and then enabled the Shadow War to begin and unleash the Sith Empire that now held Coruscant in its vice-like grip.

    But that was an aside.

Leda had been told to act with stealth.

And someone had already ratted her out.

Little did she know this… though her danger sense might give her cause for discomfort… depending how unsubtle Darth Chouken was today.

The ship shuddered with a hyperspace jump.

    And the game was on.

    ---

    Hyperspace

Astra Pancella would come to with her hands and feed manacled, stripped of her clothes, and in some kind of all-encompassing ‘onesie’, for lack of a better way of putting it. A chain was around her neck, fastening her to the corner of the shuttle bay, short enough to keep her on a leash.

She would not remember being heavily stunned from behind by a plain-clothes Stormtrooper from Crimson Squad – a four-man trooper squad usually in blood red armour when in the field; similarly, she would not remember being dragged aboard one of the three Fury-class assault ships that served the Reunion. However, she could see her gear and weapons stacked up a few metres away in the corner of the room. Equally, she would be able to see two of the troopers were asleep on their bunks, meanwhile she would, if Astra could get past the drugs she had also been drugged with, sense the other two troopers in the cockpit.

Probably she would realise that the onesie was actually a skinned Wookiee pelt last.

    Perhaps.

But it was sufficient to say that Darth Mandamus’ troops had followed his orders; he wanted her to be humiliated by the minor exertion of his power. She would break; he would mould her anew, for the glory of the Empire.

However, Crimson Squad had been supposed to meet Mandamus and the Reunion at Moraband. Instead, Mandamus had opted to keep Astra to himself for a bit longer and redirected the Squad to meet him at Lehon.

Which was why the drugs had lifted enough for her to wake, and why the troopers were asleep.

    Arrogance.

Potentially, they would pay for it.

Hyperspace – wait, no, somewhere near Lianna

The ship of Alekto lurched out of hyperspace. A moment later, alarms echoed throughout the vessel as shots crippled its hyperdrive and engines. A black wedge of a Fury-class assault ship was present – the second of Darth Mandamus’ three such assault ships, this one led by the white shell armour of a traditional Stormtrooper, being Skull Squad. Humans, four of them, and her ship was now particularly damaged.

A crackle across the comms as the ship hailed her. “You have now entered Sith Space. Your little episode on Florrum was an unauthorised massacre. We have our own Butcher within the Order, we do not need another – and she slaughtered the Senate.” Contempt rolled across the channel.

“If you surrender peacefully then we shall take you to Darth Mandamus, High Recruiter of the Sith.”

The assault ship was drifting towards the docking bay.

“Or we shall destroy you, and procedure to the rendezvous on Lehon without you.”

    ---

Lehon, Wreckage of the Temple of the Ancients

This world had birthed many a great power. First the Rakata, and their Star Forge, which had birthed the Infinite Empire and ruled the galaxy for nearly five millennia. Then Darth Revan took the world at the behest of Emperor Valkorion, and broke the Jedi Order, leaving barely a hundred alive where once had stood tens of thousands. It was here that Darth Bane understood the Rule of Two.

And it was here that Darth Insipid and the Dominion of Darkness hid from Darth Krayt and his Empire. Using the interdiction field, Insipid had grounded the personal legion of Krayt – the Sith Dragons – and from the eventual mingling of the two launched into the Unknown Regions and won the Shadow War. In a manner of speaking.

Of course, the present occupant would not know that. The Shadow War had ended a decade ago. Lehon had, again, been abandoned. A year had passed since Darth Mallace had came to the planet known as Rakata Prime to many.

    But today was different.

Above her hovel within the jungles there was a crackle of power, and a ripple of atmosphere. A ship had broken through the cloud-cover. One of the three Fury-class assault ships that served aboard the Reunion, complete with a four-man team. None of them were Force users. All of them were, strangely enough for even the multi-species Sith Empire, Kaleesh, members of the species made famous by General Greivous in the Clone Wars of ancient times. Beneath black Stormtrooper armour, Fang Squad was ready to do as they always did; flush out the enemy, subdue them with heavy stun fire, and bring them to Darth Mandamus in chains.

Darth Mandamus liked to be in-charge in the first meeting between him and a potential Peon.

Hazing, he explained to the Triumvirs.

But it was really about power.

And thus Fang Squad opened fire before they had barely made the range; inaccurate shots designed to intimidate, to drive out Mallace. If she happened die, then she would die. But the assault ship would simply track her, land in-front of wherever she ran, and then they would march down the ramp and open fire.

    As they always did.

Potentially, with this one, things might… go a bit differently.

    IC: Astra Panceila
    Fury-Class Assault Ship... Deep Space.

She could feel the vibration of the engine comingled with the constant hum of the hyperdrive. As Astra opened her eyes, she could still feel the effects of the drugs inside her as her vision went from black to blurred, and then wavy. She lie face down upon the Durasteel floor, which was as cold as ice. Horizontally, as her vision pieced itself together, she could see the bunks, two of which were filled with a sleeping body. Her arms and legs were shackled and as she lethargically tried to pull herself to her knees she realized her neck was leashed as well. Now, with clear vision she studied herself and her surroundings. She was wearing some kind of 'onesie' that smelled terrible, which made her heart rate accelerate tenfold. This couldn't have been the Wolf Pack coming back for her... This was something else. The former squad mates wouldn't have stripped her of her basic clothing and traded it for a 'Wookiee Onesie'. She frantically looked around and saw her gear stashed out of reach within the corner of the room. She began to breathe heavily as she wondered what her fate was going to be.

You've been trained for this Astra, calm down...

She thought to herself and her breath started steadying.

Now... What to do, how do I get out of this... I can see my gear in the corner but there's no way I can reach it... Two Men sleeping in the bunks.. Who's piloting the ship... What kind of ship is this even? No, that won't work... What's the last thing I remember? I was walking down an alleyway in the slums, just getting back from the market like I did so many times before..

She could see the man's face that had drugged her in the slums just before she blacked out. She began to scan the two men sleeping from across the room but couldn't get a good look at their face from the distance they were at and the fact they were facing away from her. She thought to herself once again, gripping to anything to try and make sense of this situation, but there was nothing that made sense about this situation. She returned to her inner thoughts,

Turn my way you kriffing scum... Turn! Let me see that face... The Man surprisingly turned to face her but his eyes were opened. He rose from his bunk as he saw Astra, now awake and moving. He addressed her maliciously,

"Well... Would you look at that... The ol' Red Fox is awake! HAHA!" As he approached her, his face was shadowed. He let loose a punch to the right side of her face and back away once again; just out of reach. She dropped face first to the deck momentarily before clawing her way back to her kneeling position. The remaining man in the bunk snorted as he woke, he shouted to his comrade,

"SHUT UP OVER THERE WILL YA'!", He then rolled over in his bunk and continued snoring.

The man that punched her continued, "Nice Onesie... I was hoping the boss would keep you stripped for our enjoyment but he thought this suited you better.."

Astra looked up to the man with such hatred. Looking into the man's eyes, she spat blood at his boots and gritted,

    "Go Kriff yourself, scum..."

The man started laughing and approached her once more. This time, before the man let loose another strike, Astra shifted her shackled legs out in front of her quickly and took the man down with a sweep attack with her paired legs. Before his head bounced off the floor and made a noise, she twisted the slack of the chain that was around her neck around his own, catching him before the inevitable *clank* and pulled his head up into her chest.
She clenched the chain tightly and the man began to convulse on the floor. He made no noise as he choked to death. After several bated breaths, the man stopped moving. She relinquished the grip, pushed him to the side and once again returned to her kneeling position.

Now, what to do... I doubt that will work again... How to get out of these shackles...

Astra began to search the man she murdered and found a small personal datapad in his pocket. Taking several moments, she disassembled the datapad and took out its' circuitry. She was able to fashion a well-enough lockpick to release her neck from the leash, breaking the makeshift lockpick in the process. Her feet and hands were still shackled however. she silently hopped to her gear and pulled the eight-inch serrated vibroblade from her boot holster and turned to the remaining sleeping man. As she did, she felt something she had never felt before. Her nerve endings lit up like Coruscant's red light district. She felt her mind open up, to, well, everything. She could feel the pilots within the cockpit, she could feel the turning of the engines. The pilots had absolutely no idea what had transpired here... Fools.

She returned to the task at hand. She continued to hop to the remaining man. With her hands bound together, she quickly pressed her right elbow down upon his temple and in one fluid motion, buried her blade into the man's neck. There was gurgling and flailing from him, but he could fight, but it wouldn't change the outcome. He bled out and laid motionless upon the bed. Astra searched him and found the key to her shackles upon him. She scoffed at the irony before releasing herself completely from the shackles. She quickly suited up and readied herself once again.

    IC: Darth Mallace

    Splash.

It was a normal sound for a normal day. Darth Mallace, on the planet she knew as Rakata Prime, was thrusting her gloved hands inside the water, reaching for any water-dwelling creature she could. She sat there, crouched, at the edge of the beach, constantly trying to catch anything she could. Through the constant routine of the year she was on the planet, she was quickly able to catch the unnamed water-dwelling creatures, which she assumed to be native to the planet. She would not have been there long enough to know that they were imported to the planet, similar to how a Rancor was brought into the planet years and years ago.

As far as she knew, these were the only animals on the entire planet. She hadn't explored far enough to find out - she was completely fine where she was, even if she was getting sick of eating the same thing for months. Just the same water-dwelling creatures mixed in with some food from her acquired ship, which she knew she had to use extraordinarily sparingly.

With her afternoon meal in her hands, and the lower part of her dressing now drenched in water, Mallace began to set a course back to her ship, the animal flopping in her grip as she walked. It would not be moving for long.

Through the years she had been on her own, thriving off of random people for supplies, barely scraping by, she had grown used to not having enough food, and began to use the Force for most of her energy. It was why one of those things was good enough to last her hours. She wouldn't waste time frittering her energy away doing trivial things such as a swim, as relaxing as it would be, in the beautiful, blue ocean waters. She wouldn't pointlessly climb up the colossal amount of trees that were near her, or waste her Force energy by jumping over the massive rocks that were placed around her. Mallace spent most of her time inside her ship, eating, sleeping, looking at radar for incoming ships, glancing and admiring her weapon, and training herself to become more powerful with the Force when she felt up to it. She would only use excessive amounts of energy when she had to. And, so far, she hasn't had to do that.

    Yet.

The planet itself was beautiful, despite the multiple crashed ships that were layered across the ocean. Clearly, a major battle had taken place here, probably years ago, most likely even before she was born, given the huge amount of decay that was on each spacecraft. She hadn't bothered to check what was on any of the ships, thinking that whatever was inside would be rendered useless in the years it was surrounded by tons of water. Waves would creep up onto the sandy beach, which could be powerful enough to send someone onto their back if they weren't careful. If they were weak, that is.

Her ship was there, not far from the beach, partially hidden within a wide spread of trees, but still easily spotted at the right angle - just in case she ever decided to go out farther than she ever had before. She considered that on a daily basis, mainly because she wanted to see what else was on the planet. Whether or not there was another species located somewhere, and she just hadn't seen it yet. Because, so far, the only thing she saw were those water-dwelling creatures that she ate. She was all alone here, isolated on a planet that was mostly silent, aside from the sound of the ocean, wind, and herself.

She was used to the isolation at that point, had grown to favor it. The silence became soothing to her. She had been on the run for many years, hiding from the Jedi, running if she was found. Many people, especially other Sith, would call her a coward for running, tell her to fight back and "hold her position". She would ignore these people. She didn't care what they thought.

Her new ship was large, layered with multiple streaks of yellow coloring. The front was mainly colored in yellow, with few splotches of grey mixed in. It was boxy, created for maximum holding space. It was also where the cockpit was located, big enough for four people to sit in a row. The ramp was directly under this part, connected to the ship through the traditional circular miniature rods. The hull of the ship was more circular, similar to the infamous Millennium Falcon from years prior. There were similar design choices on the top of the hull as well. Three circular plates was located to the right side, or the flyer's left, of the main blaster, and multiple quadrilateral plates were placed on seemingly random areas, colored in yellow, grey, and white. To the flyer's left was a large, rectangular part, which she used as a place to store food and supplies. At least, that was what the previous owner used it for. She didn't really see any reason to change it. The one blaster on the ship was located on the top of the ship, directly in the middle, which had a dome that she snapped into place to protect her from any oncoming fire that she might experience. With a simple turn of a control stick, the blaster would turn, capable of moving in a 360 motion, and 90 degrees in the air. Located on the back part was the engines. Two of them to be exact. Each one equal in width and circumference. Combined, they were powerful enough to fly the large beast, which could make .05 past lightspeed, whatever that meant. It was scratched on a part of the cockpit, as if to act like a permanent reminder to the traveler that it could to that - probably so he could "pick up women". What a sleazeball.

    [/spoiler[IMG][/spoiler]
As she neared her home, walking within the trees, stepping through the medium sized grass, she heard a sound she was not used to hearing on this planet. Something she had been dreading ever since she got there, but didn't expect to hear it for another decade or so.

It was a ship's engine. Someone had found her.

There was something different about this one, though. She could feel the power emanating from the spacecraft, very unlike a Jedi. The Dark Side was strong with whoever was the commander there. Clearly, the Jedi had not found her.

    The Sith did.

The ship landed not far from her current position, the ramp lowering, slamming onto the sandy ground, and four alien creatures, all wielding blasters, ran out. They were in formation, obviously practiced severely. Mallace knew these aliens to be of the Kaleesh species, the very same to the infamous General Grievous.

Her slow walk turned into a sprint, trying to reach her ship as fast as she could, avoiding sight as best as she could.

    It didn't work.

The troopers began firing upon her, all of the shots not coming close to hitting her. But, when she was being shot at, the only thing she could think of doing was hiding behind a tree. Mallace would have ignited her lightsaber, probably easily killing off the troops one by one.

But she had left her weapon on the ship. And they were nearing her position with every passing second.

With the passing time, she began to realize a part of their plan. The blaster bolts were not even reaching her. They were just fizzling into nonexistence before they got to her position. At first, she thought this an act of stupidity. Just a bunch of itchy trigger fingers eager to purge "the weak" from the galaxy. But she could sense the sheer power coming from the ship. There was someone else there, someone behind the scenes. Calculating every possible outcome. It was becoming increasingly obvious that this was an act to drive her out into the open, probably to kill her, or perhaps worse, knowing a Sith.

She used this opportunity. She pushed herself off of the tree, rushing straight for her ship. Already, the gears were beginning to turn to shape up a plan. She immediately crossed out the possibility of using her ship to fight back. Sure, she could easily kill off the soldiers, but what about the Sith still in their own ship? He could just as easily rush to their blasters and blow her out of the sky. If she just tried to escape, they would most definitely see that and chase after her.

She decided to reach for her lightsaber and fight back. The troops would die easily. The Sith... that remained to be seen.

The ramp lowered, and she jumped inside, snatching her lightsaber off of the pilot's chair, rushing back out into the wilderness.

She began to sneak her way towards the Kaleesh, twisting and turning within the trees to keep herself hidden - which was something she excelled at. They would have to have expert sight to see her.

As she neared them, she gripped her lightsaber tighter, knuckles bare white. She was excited to unleash her power on someone else in such a long time. Her skills might be rusty, but she was sure she would be capable enough to take them out.

With a Force induced leap, she jumped onto one of the troopers, wrapping her legs around the neck of one, igniting her lightsaber to deflect any oncoming blaster fire. She spun around, snapping the neck of the first Kaleesh, and jumping off, landing near the second Kaleesh soldier. She kicked him in the face with a high-kick, which sent him directly on his back, open for stabbing. She had been ducking and dodging and blaster fire that had been coming her way as she impaled the downed soldier in the chest. The remaining two aliens had opened fire on her, each one successfully dodged or deflected. With every shot, she neared the Kaleesh. They were doomed for death. With the third soldier, she ducked low, slashing her lightsaber for his legs, cutting them off, causing him to collapse onto the ground. He was quickly killed off by decapitation after she deflected a couple of shots from the final member of the four-man squad. With the final Kaleesh, Mallace simply threw her lightsaber at him, which impaled him directly in his skull. Swiftly, she grabbed the handle, jerking it out of the alien, allowing him to collapse to the ground - dead.

She moved onto the Sith in the ship.

She wanted them off her planet.

    IC: Alekto
    Somewhere near Lianna

Damn!” Alekto swore, slamming an olive green fist on a console in her stolen ship's cockpit as it dropped out of hyperspace suddenly, catching the robust Mirialan woman by surprise and pulling her out of her detached daydreaming. Alarms screeched throughout the vessel, alerting her that the hyperdrive had been compromised, and then in the next moment, that the engines were shot. Making an exasperated noise, she ran her other hand through the longish inky hair on the top of her head as the ship’s comm system pinged and a voice came through.

“You have now entered Sith space.” Pleasant surprise briefly lit up Alekto’s face—she had hoped she was going in the right direction, but she had no idea if she had pressed all the right buttons and turned all the right knobs. She had never piloted a ship anywhere other than planetside Florrum and hadn’t the slightest idea about how to navigate through space. She was relieved to hear she had pointed the ship in the right direction. “Your little episode on Florrum was an unauthorised massacre. We have our own Butcher within the Order, we do not need another – and she slaughtered the Senate.”

Huh, Alekto thought to herself. A Senate butcher, hmm? Ballsy. She absently toyed with the two barbell piercings along the midline of her tongue with her teeth.

Two days prior, Alekto had razed a city on Florrum to the ground with nothing but a blaster, a vibrodagger, and her rudimentary grasp on the Force. She had just come out of hiding from amongst the sulfuric deserts of Florrum and was of such a single-minded focus that she thought of nothing other than the ultimate destruction of everyone and everything in the city, caring not for the saving of innocents or protection of the city’s buildings. The two years she had spent in self-isolation had built within her a destructive obsession with someone who had hurt her—someone she had intended to seize and spirit away before she had lost control of her ruinous path. Now, with the city reduced to a pile of rubble and everyone within it dead or dying, it was almost as if nothing had ever happened for Alekto, what with the very little remorse she showed, and she felt somewhat like she had gone back in time to when she first fled into the deserts. Lost and unsure where to go, but still going somewhere and not caring what the future might have in store.

Truth be told, Alekto wasn’t sure of what her path was at this point in time; she knew she wanted to learn more about the Dark Side of the Force, maybe get some travelling in, maybe get in on some Sith action. She was mostly hoping to stumble upon the Sith—and had set course for Sith space after hijacking the ship she was in and leaving Florrum for what was the first and probably the only time. Alekto had no intentions of ever returning. There was nothing there for her now. She had, as it were, inadvertently destroyed everything she considered valuable.

“If you surrender peacefully then we shall take you to Darth Mandamus, High Recruiter of the Sith. Or we shall destroy you, and procedure to the rendezvous on Lehon without you.”

“You had me at Sith recruiter,” Alekto said aloud, smirking, as she unclipped her safety belts and shambled out of the cockpit, heading towards the docking bay. Her favorite vibrodagger hung on her right hip amongst the myriad of utility pouches on her belt—as she walked, she rest her wrists atop the pouches, adding just the slightest bit of swagger to her gait. She wore her favorite outfit, and the only one she had left Florrum with: billowy, comfortable harem pants tucked into knee-high boots, a black sleeveless, high-necked, slim-fitting cropped top, and a ragged hooded cowl. Coming to a stop before the docking bay doors, Alekto leaned back just slightly, and blew a lock of hair away from her face, revealing the customary Mirialan tattoo on her forehead. She was ready to face these Sith recruiters with absolutely no resistance at all; she was ready to pursue the Dark Side, to unlock its secrets and boundless power. They’d get no fight out of her.

The docking bay doors hissed as they slid open and Alekto came face to face with her collectors.

“Hello, fellas,” she said once the doors were completely open, bouncing on the balls of her feet. “The name’s Alekto.”

    IC: Darth Leda
    The Hold of the Reunion

Leda walked down aisle after aisle, looked upon crate and cargo, felt out for sources of dark side energies time and again. The Sith Apprentice had found nothing but old food stores and rations as well as the droids that were transporting some of these materials elsewhere. They themselves cut an imposing figure in the dim light, looking more battle-ready than for the simple jobs they had been relegated to. It was a curious scene.

Quickly slipping into the shadow of a particularly large shipping container, one such droid passed her by, its black mechanical limbs carrying yet another crate to the front of the hold. As she had come aboard a stow-away, the white-haired young woman had noticed the more… luxurious edibles were their focus. They were being separated out and moved while the less appetizing foods were left behind. Of course, she figured with what she knew of Darth Mandamus, he was keeping the latter for himself and those that gain his favor.

As these analytical thoughts moved through her head, she cautiously peered around the container to watch the creature continue on its way. Leda bit her lip in mild frustration. She knew she had been as thorough as possible, looking through every inch of this space as was one part of her directive. There were no artifacts of note here. The Night Herald would surely not like this news but she planned on never having to tell him.

Leda was confused, but only momentarily. She knew better than to dwell on things she could not control, her intense training on this issue making it nothing more than a passing thought as she simply moved on to her next course of action. If what she sought was not here as she was told they had the best chance of being, well then she would look somewhere else. Her Final Trial was upon her, she knew, and this could very well be the last test as to her competency.

She would get it done, as she always did.

Beginning to creep along, snaking her way through the hold towards the front, she remained unnoticed by the droids that were continuing to move about. The area had very little in the way of direct light so she was able to progress easily without the aid of the Force; her light armor suit she had chosen for this mission enabling her to dodge and leap agilely within the shadows.

Coming upon the main entrance, Leda suddenly froze. A prickling sensation ran up her spine, a feeling she knew all too well. Danger was near. Without a second thought, she threw her body to the side and pressed her back to the wall beside the door. As her bright eyes held focus, she quickly grabbed hold of her lightsaber, a finger placed over the activation switch.

As she tensed, vibrations ran through the floor beneath her feet and then gave a faint lurch; the Reunion had entered hyperspace. There was nowhere to go, no point in hiding… which she never enjoyed much anyways. Holding her position, Leda waited to see what… or who… was closing in.

    Daelric Barri'urden
    The Reunion

"I understand that Darth Leda was secretly conveyed to the ship in the food delivery. Perhaps on the orders of Lord Haretisch himself. Go be a good lieutenant and go find her, would you?" Daelric ignored the condescending tone of Darth Mandamus, knew little of the man beyond a few briefings and word of mouth, he didn't seem well liked. That never bothered Daelric though, most men of power were not well liked, what mattered to them was fear and respect.

Daelric was no coward, nor was he ignorant. He feared the power of Mandamus, he also respected his influence. Any Sith who wasn't delusional would feel the same, Daelric was different in the regard that he was drawn to such beings. It was they who he stood to benefit the most from serving, his organization was many things to many people, all of them influential and wealthy even by Sith standards.

This was exactly the kind of man who had ambition, it would be wise to serve him to the best of his ability, and that was exactly what he would do......at least until a more profitable opportunity arose. For now however, this was the best horse in the race.

As Darth Mandamus turned back to watch the stars pass by he backed out, bowed as was due the man's position, and went off to find this Darth Leda. As he entered a turbo lift that would bring him to the level the hangar was on he he pulled a small datapad out of his pocket, he found that most people completely ignored droids, the obvious course of action would be to check with them. Before his lift came to a stop he had discovered that she had not been seen, but he commanded all droid units to report with him if a woman of her basic description was seen.

Good, at least this would keep him off the bridge for a while.

Even with no sighting in the hangar he felt it best to inspect the ship as she could still be hiding or stowed in one of the crates. As he approached the entrance to the hangar he noted that the ship was long since emptied, only a few maintenance droids remained. "Where did this cargo go?" The droid replied with the hold number, it didn't even stop preforming it's maintenance function but Daelric didn't care, he was already on his way.

The distance was short so it was not long before he approached the entrance to the hold, he felt his insides lurch slightly as the ship shifted to hyperspace, then entered the hold itself and stopped just inside. Nothing seemed amiss at all.

"Droid." He called to one nearby, "The shipment that came off the last shuttle, open the crates for inspection." The droid chittered it's annoyance but went off to start gathering the crates. Daelric remained where he was, as he waited he was reminded why he used agents for this kind of work, he was already bored with it.

I dunno if it's too late to make a character, in which case, ignore this
But if it isn't, I'd love to try this. Never took part in these kind of activities before and I think it'll be fun to try out

    Name: Jenlin Mass
    Age: 21
    Sex: Male

    Species: Human

    Height: 5 feet 8 inches

    Weight: 132 lbs

    Occupation: Jedi Knight

Physical description: Jenlin is an asian male, and has a thin face and cool eyes. Though under 6 ft tall, he doesnt look short because he's skinny. He has long dark hair that parts at his forehead, and often ties it back into a ponytail

Clothing: Dark cloak hanging from right shoulder around his neck. Like a cape, it goes down to his feet, his back cannot be seen. He wears a red vest with a black leather belt, and dark jeans
    Weapons: Double bladed lightsaber (black)

Description of Abilities: Jenlin is a smart fighter, and has fast reflexes. Is acrobatic. Also very agile, but not enough to be superhuman. He uses his smart thinking to distract an opponent faster than himself, then executes his best punish. Cannot use the Force
    Affiliation: Jedi

Biography: Jenlin Mass was born into a loving family, who raised him to learn acrobats. When he was a teenager, he often ventured off by himself and got into street fights, further honing his fighting knowledge and eventually making him a great fighter. By the time he was 18, his homeworld was attacked by a Clone army who were in search of an incredibly rare dark crystal. Jedi were nearby and fought off the clones with the help of Jenlin, who for the year and a half, would assist the Jedi in defending his planet. Eventually fighting off the remaining clones, he decided to join the Jedi and learn the ways of the Force.
However, when the Jedi took him under, they discovered he was unable to use the Force. Regardless, his skill with weapons like a bo-staff made him different, and they decided to give him his own double bladed lightsaber. A year later, miners found the dark crystal that the clones were searching for. A gang of criminals stole it, but Jenlin tracked them down and after beating them all mercilessly, regained the dark crystal. The miners and the village insisted he keep it as a way of showing thanks, saying that it was meant for him.
Jenlin accepted it, and used it to craft a double bladed darksaber. Since then, with his family's blessing, has traveled to other planets with the Jedi, and has become a stronger and smarter fighter

Hi! Send your CS to Sinrebirth, the game's GM (Game Master), to ask if you're still able to get in on the game. Usually the first step to joining a game is to PM the GM for approval. :)

Although the Jedi tried to help her defeat the Dark Side, Invadator’s insecurities fueled her desire for power and control. She finally submitted completely to the Dark Side, adding the Darth title to her name. When the Jedi realized she was gone, they tried to execute her. She escaped, vowing to get revenge on the Jedi for rejecting her and being ignorant to the true power of the Dark Side.

She never had a Sith Master; her only training came from the Jedi. She experimented with her powers over the years, growing more ruthless and powerful. She takes odd jobs and bounty hunts to support herself. She developed a reputation for being cunning and brutal.
