FF:SA New Years in August!

Welcome to the planning of New Years in August.

Similar to Christmas in July, but with more sparklers and streamers!

A chance to ware our Sunday best! or maybe something you borrowed of Lady Gaga and have forgotten to return.
A lovely dinner somewhere, with great friends and awesome food and party till midnight! (or just maybe turn the clocks forward a little )
With a little secret SAFF gift giving! (nothing over $5, and apparently, no more singing flowers)

(I recommend 'North' restaurant, as I work there and its my job to recommend it. )

I'll work out preferred dates next week. Too busy with work at the moment...I no can brain now

However, just to chuck it in the mix, there's a place called British India in the city (corner of Gouger & Morphett). Indian, British and some interesting combinations of the two styles. Great for those who can't or don't like the spicy food. There's a semi-private dinner room too.

Not really fussed where we go.

BTW Skip We went to the British India not long ago and werent impressed with their level of service and the fly in my food incident with Evil_Rex's meal.

 

Should be good for any of those dates. The place we went last year was good

 

And the black out..

The first time I went there, it was lovely. Second time, not so much..

How exciting! Sorry, this week and half I have been in compertitions and Sydney! NOW, I am back and totaly fouces on fun things like Dinners and costume events and SAFF Stuff! YEAH!

Fresh Choice, is all you can eat, mainly Asian influenced buffet at $23.50 (drinks extra) located at 373 Diagonal Road, Sturt. (about 2 minuet drive from Marion Shopping center.) , I?m thinking at about 6:30-7pm?

Highway Inn, is a Modern Australian mixed menu with something for everyone, good ambience and very stylish. Located at 290 Anzac Highway, Plympton. Check out the Menu
Entree - $13-$15
Main - $20-$30
Dessert $12-$18
(no separate accounts)
Either 6pm -8pm then we can go out and sit in the gardens and chat or if more food is required, they have a side bar bistro thingy or we start at 8pm till we finish.
