    Interesting rule. Not sure how it is in Germany, maybe I should take a look at the bottles next time. But also interesting that it took them 30 years to get that rule through... if I got it right from a quick look! :eek:


    2 hours? That's some time! I think I would need an hospital after that time in summer sun. ;)


    NYC, if you want, you can join us at Malta. Just get a flight and a room and we'll enjoy Malta together. ;) :p And you can bet, I'm so curious and even starting to get nervous, plus starting to think about what stuff I could forget at home. Yay! :D

    Yes I do, Skiara. *sigh* Oh well, maybe it keeps someone else from getting hurt or ill. :p Fortunately, it's not bad. I can walk without much more problem than normal.

    I give my best, NYC, but actually I plan to take only a very small portion of sunblock with me because of weight limit for flights, so that'll one thing I have to buy there as soon as I arrive there. Hopefully they have sunblocker there. What if not? 8-}

    Glad to hear you're feeling better DG :)

    I think you get a sunburn more easily or at least more quickly when you're in the water, because the water reflects and intensifies the sun rays, even if you're under the water. I've burnt my back like that lots of time, floating on an air mattress, even though I've used sun block (waterproof at that!)

    yes thats true, because the factor lenghtens the time you body can protec itsself . so if you body protects yourself for 10 minutes (in harsh conditions) and you have spf 35 than it would equal almost 6 hours. If you r skin can take 30 min however it would equal 17 h. lol

    The best way to avoid sunburn is to stay indoors and enjoy the A/C. :p

    NYC, it was you who were in Europe and not too far away from my home, but we still managed to miss each other, right? :confused:

    Today I'll be a bit calmer as usually at weekends, since my busy with my RL job and when I'm back home I guess I just want to relax by watching tv. ;)

    After my last exam, that's basically it for me, aside from the last day of school on Friday, which we don't really do much. After that, my summer vacation officially begins, and I believe ends late August.
