Got my braces removed, but now I have to wear a retainer.

Darth_Gamek, at least the bracers are off and you can eat the forbidden food. The retainer is so important. I made the mistake of not wearing mine all the time.

You wore braces? Were they uncomfortable at all to wear? Because my dentist said to help against my overbite jaw, I should get braces too. She did say they would be Invisalyners, but still...

When you first put them on, they really hurt. A LOT. But you'll get used to it.

 

Okay, that is my warning shot right there......I'l have to be prepared... So, what about your retainer? Is that painful?

 

I made a huge pot roast this evening and I think that I ate too much.

 

It's not painful, it's just a bit uncomfortable. I'll probably get used to it.

Of course it was, I cooked it after all. I'm not trying to sound conceited or anything but I rarely make something that isn't good.

You should have a discussion with my husband and master about it. He also howls like a wolf when he things something with his cuisine is utterly wrong. One little lump inside a sauce or the meat is a tiny bit too grilled.
For me everything he does is simply delicious.

 

I'm highly critical of food that I cook. If it's not right, I'm not happy and will start swearing.

 

I can't cook AT ALL. I love when my friends make me food, since they all can (and they love that I do their dishes, so it's an even trade )
