Put me down as a maybe because "Always in motion the future is" a specially for me at the moment but I'd really like to attend and I feel I should seeing as it's my local City.

Newcastle Comic Fair / Mart ? September 2nd

University of Northumbria, Ellison Place

Due to extended University inductions taking place in the hall we normally use, the mart on September 2nd will instead be held in a new location within the same building.

We will be using two large rooms opposite each other on the first floor. Access to unload etc. is straight forward, from the usual main entrance there are three lifts available by the reception area. On the first floor, we are just down the main corridor.

The new location will be well sign posted to avoid any confusion with the public entering the building.

Future dates will be back in the Rutherford Hall.

I live in Hebburn, Tyne and Wear so I know Newcastle pretty well. I'm there quite a lot when not at uni. I'll just hop off the metro and meet you at the waterstones.

Actually - to disprove that theory, theres a gig on Saturday night in Newcastle still Im off to, if anyone likes the noisy stuff or seeing the fun in the moshpit? I usally get jumped on because I cant stage dive as good as I used to

It's a little joke Nige knows all too well Dave btw, about me and the size of a hill and how far away stuff is. Well, I don't drive, so I am in a different mindset than most.

Been thinking about where to eat tomorrow and thought I?d list a few places that I know of that make a change from Burger King etc. This is by no means me telling people where to go, just a few suggestions! I?m probably a bit biased, as some are veggie

Lunch time sort of places:

Almonds & Raisins- a nice health food place which does veggie/vegan food, such as sarnies, pasties, soup and other dishes

Base11- Little café which does a nice selection of paninis, wraps, bagels etc

Trillians- rock pub that does the usual sort of pub grub

Bob Trollops- nice old pub on the Quayside, which has an all-veggie menu (has an adjoining pub which caters for carnivores)

Stateside Diner- American 50?s style diner tucked away along a side street, which serves typical diner food (now there?s a thing!)

Evening meal:

Rasa- restaurant on the Quayside which does South Indian cuisine. Quite unusual stuff- makes a change from vindaloo etc!

Stowell St- In Chinatown, so plenty of Chinese/Japanese restaurants to choose from

The Gate- has a few different bars/restaurants to choose from

Simply Greek- erm....Greek

We'll see how things go, but just thought I'd make some suggestions
