News from Bucky Palace...

My mate, Iain, works at Buckingham Palace and regularly he mails me with the latest goss and stuff...

Here's a snippet of his latest installment:


"I'm mailing everyone, telling them how much I hate my job. Over worked, under
paid and I'm being sent away again on Saturday (this time to Edinburgh, hence
the pipes!) for another week. Feel as if I'm hardly ever at home. once I come
back from Edinburgh, I've got another busy 3 weeks here, then off to Balmoral
for a month. Yes, 4 weeks. Actually it's great working from there, but if
only I could come home at weekends! A month without a lie in is taking the
piss. Especially when every night is party night. Poo. Just as well it's
cheap.

Had mum down all of last week. I was doing The Season thing with her. No, not
the Football season, The Season, with Ascot and things. Top hat and tails all
the way sweetie! Have never had so much Champagne and Pimms in one month,
ever! Went to the Queen's Birthday Parade - mum nearly fainted when the queen
passed waving. Ascot, she nearly fainted again cos we were in the Royal
Enclosure hob nobbing with the hats. Found Faye from Steps in the commoners
bit pished out of her skull! And, she wasn't wearing any pants! "


Now, I know my Jon is all excited about the fact that Faye had no pants on... LOL

What does your friend do?

 

He's head of "F" Division. "F" meaning Food. He orders in all the food and stuff.

 

Damn, when I read this title I was dreaming of a palace where glaswegians sat around suppin' the Bucky, the nectar of the gods.

 

They sell Bucky at our local off licence in MK. I was stunned. But, I've never tasted it. And I never intend to either.

Its an Ayrshire and South Lanarkshire thing, aint it?
