Nintendo Video Games: The Tournament!

Welcome to the first Census tournament, dedicated to the games published or developed by Nintendo! Please read the following carefully:

Rules/Notes

• The tournament consists of only 32 games. (See the list below.)

• The nomination process is over and the voting has begun. This is not a poll, so do not take the list below as if it were choices from a poll. This is a bracket tournament.

• Brackets will be alphabetical (i.e Super Mario Bros. will go against Super Mario Bros. 2)

• Please do not vote twice by using socks. That will lead to your votes being voided.

• If you have not played at least one of the two games in a bracket, you should abstain from voting.

• Most importantly, please read the latest posts, so that you'll know what the current bracket is.

I included the Super NES version of Mario Kart. If anyone wants to nominate the N64 or Game Boy Advance versions (which are not the same), feel free to do so.

eclipse, you didn't have to change your choice. What I meant was that, since you didn't specify the version of Mario Kart you wanted in the tournament, I picked the SNES version. However, if gwaernardel does not use her remaining nomination, I will include Yoshi's Island to even things out.

Well, there are still plenty of first-party games to choose from. I'm surprised no one has mentioned any of Samus Aran's adventures yet.

 

I can't add any of those, since you already posted your nominations. But anyone else can pick a game or two from your post, if they want.
