I think this would be the correct board for this question: What happens if there's a Force user that isn't a member of the order and isn't a member of the Sith. Does the Jedi Order have a kind of "if they're not with us, they're against us"? Or do they just keep an eye on someone like that and make sure that they don't turn dark? The second one makes more sense. And yes I do understand that this would happen like once in a billion years. Thanks for the help.

That would be considered a "Dark" Jedi, and yes, the jedi do watch them to make sure they don't go Dark.

    There's tons of non-Jedi or non-Sith Force-sensitive / Force-using "religious" orders.

Ithorian "Mother-earthers," the White Current / witches of Dathomir, students of the Tyia, the DE-era ysanna - Jedi-inbred force-using inhabitants of Ossus, et. al.

Luke once spoke of the Force like a river, There are many more cups than the Jedi and Sith that draw water from it.

There are good Force users who aren't Jedi, and there are evil Force users who aren't Sith.

The Silent maybe another one. The Silent are religious group who appear in the Med Star duology. They are reported to have some sort of mysterious healing power. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that they are Force-sensitve, or at least Force-attuned.
