MOD Non-Spoilers Allowed Forum Sign-Up

Spoiler Free is always better.

 

what I personally think is that, it got overly hyped up.

For example we had: "Palpatine uses his lightsaber 500 times faster than anybody else" and "words cut deeper than lightsabers" and other "sensationalist" spoilers.

I don't want that experience again. It didn't help that I knew the script, (as it was included in the back of the The Art Of ROTS book) before going to see it.

 

^ Overhype, yes... I must admit, THAT is something I'm more trying to avoid than actual spoilers.

EDIT -- But I guess they kind of go hand in hand.

 

PrincessKenobi I'm interested in this too. I'm planning on not being spoiled.

 

Well, to be honest, PT were the only movies where I was so interested that I actively sought out spoilers.
Of course, there are many, many movies that I looked forward to as much as PT but never bothered with even going on a message board and posting about them or anything.
Just waited for it to come out, enjoyed, went on.
Star Wars is special That's why it'll be too tempting not to peek at the leaked stuff.

I would like to join the spoiler free party. Suggestion: you might want to consider the soundtrack like the novelization in terms of spoilers. Let us never forget how the Episode I cd spoiled that movie.

 

I would love to be part of both forums so I can up my post count so I can speculate and have fun with y'all to my heart's content.

I was definitely interested in signing up, but it turns out that a crap load of spoilers will be allowed in the non-spoiler forum.

Why bother.

 

I don't really see any of those listed as spoilers.
Official statements and press release images are hardly spoilers. To avoid those in this day and age, I'm pretty sure you'd have to go in a cave and collapse the entrance behind you.

 

Or make a non-spoiler forum. I don't live in a cave and I browse the internet regularly and I manage to avoid those things just fine.

Apparently NSA is not even going to manage the level of the spoiler, only the source. Good idea.

Lucas could post the entire script online (or any major info) and it would be allowed in NSA.

An actor can say their character died and it would be allowed in NSA.

Insider can outline the entire plot and it would be allowed in NSA.

Do you have any idea how many spoilers can be found in trailers? Even major spoilers can be found in trailers.

So it should really be called "slightly less spoilers allowed". As in, everything is allowed except info from completely unreliable sources or some guy from LFL you've never heard of.
