Discussion November is Coming...and so is NaNoWriMo!

...on account of trying to get out of writer's block and drabble set: somewhere between 500 and 1,500. Uncertain because some of that was on paper.

 

Same here. I am just writing anything that comes into my head. I went back and read some of what I wrote this morning and I actually didn't remember writing some of the things I read. I guess I am writing so fast that it is not getting into my long term memory. When it is all said and done, I have a feeling a 50K word story will be edited down to 25K.

My total for today is 22,832 words.

 

887 words today for a total of 25,905 words.

 

Totals updated. I made it to 27K today. Doubt I will break 30K tomorrow but I hope to Monday.

A slow day, but a quick hour gives me 672 words on the day.

I limped across the 30,000 word mark last night. Sitting at 30,300 right now. Hoping to get a little more motivation tonight. Pretty unhappy with most of what I've written this year so far.

 

30203 as of this moment. I shouldn't have any more written today because I have to do homework, but I don't want to do my homework so I will probably procrastinate and write some more later.

 

Another day of gaming limits the word count to 845 today.

 

I managed to bring my total up to 32,100 tonight.

 

Same. While I hope to add some content when I revise, I'm sure there's going to be just as much - if not more - that gets cut out. Oh well, at least all the words count now!

I'm turning in for the night with 18,028 total! (Maybe I'll actually get back on track this week.)

D'oh, I totally forgot to check this thread once November started! I'm sonnet2005 over on NaNo but my progress is not so great this year.

 

32,465 is the total to date. I'm surprised I got that much done. The kids had a 90 minute scout meeting and then we watched the movie Pixels when we got back. Still, I am writing crap though. lol!

 

35,671 to round out the night. Pushed myself hard today as I doubt that much will get accomplished tomorrow due to Battlefront...

Despite being sick I am churning out some more, my goal is 4000 words for today so I'm at least out of a "January" completion date.
Then I'll work on getting back into November.

I actually don't know where I am right now other than way behind. I've not been able to write a lot the last few days, but I've already written a lot more this month than I have in the last few months, so I'll take it as a win no matter what.

2,243 words written today for a grand total of 30,886.

I'm with mavjade: I've gotten so much writing down over the last 2.5 weeks that it's already a "win" in my column.

 

Back into writing after being sick, over the last three days my total has gone from 10,517 to 17,004! Woohoo! Catching up!!!
I just need 2,500 words or more per day to finish on time - totally achievable...I hope.
