I dunno, I guess I thought he'd get at least secondary character status, like Haja or Tala.

Come to think of it, yeah, I think Dex could've been used a bit more as well.

I don't know, haven't really thought that far ahead. I'm just thinking he was an interesting alien design who could've used more screen time.

This is clearly setting up the return of the Imperial Klingons.

It will be interesting though what Larocca's art looks like though when he isn't having to crank out issues every few weeks like he was during much of his time doing the regular lines.

I forgot about the final movie of the Star Wars saga not even bothering to release its comics adaptation. Embarrassing

  11. You still have Rise of Skywalker Novelization Novelizations add extra details to the Movies unlike Comic Adaptations i hope the Rey New Movie do not contradict the Rise of Skywalker Novel as it happened with the Force Awakens Novelization with the Last Jedi Movie in where Rey and Poe first meet in the Force Awakens Novel but the Last Jedi Movie featured Rey and Poe Real first meeting

Rey and Poe clearly suffered multiple head injuries during the film Last Jedi so it knocked out their memory of their meeting in the Force Awakens novelization

I don’t wanna be rude, but I don’t think I’ve ever been so turned off by a comic book artist’s work.

I cannot believe this guy keeps on getting to do SW comics. It’s the most hideous, grotesque style there is in modern comics IMO. The overuse of his employment is actually what got me out of reading the Marvel SW comics. I literally couldn't stand staring at his work. Horrible stuff.

It's very, very simple - he does the job, quickly and on time.

Agree. But in this case quality of the comic art matches the quality of the series.;)
Although I like that Grand Inquisitor looks even more Nosferatu-like.

As a TV series ObiWan was uneven but it knew the importance of ending well, which it did. I think it overdid the darkness on eps 3-5, but eps 1-2 and 6 I really liked.

So the issue's not terrible. Maybe taking a break from SW allowed Larroca to muster up more effort- it's still not as good as his art in Gillen's Vader run, but it's much better than his art in Gillen's Star Wars run, a LOT less tracing. There's actually some points where he makes Obi-Wan look like a mix between McGregor and Guinness.

I actually liked Larroca's work on Darth Vader (Also the writing being aces helped) but he can draw Vader consistently from different angles
