Monday started off good. But later in the day it started to really, really go down hill.

 

Rise and shine, campers...its Monday! T-day week is right around the corner, we can make it!

 

I need a do-over

 

A mulligan? I am sorry.


Quite a few people were laid off at my office today. It was kinda scary. And no, I wasn't one of them.

 

When I was a kid and I started dreading school, (so I guess it would have been about high school) I would be as happy as a clam from last bell on friday up until I heard the sixty minutes montage on sunday night. Anybody remember that show with Claire Danes about high school? Her character said something along those lines once, and all I could do was laugh, because it's so true.

Monday is so hated it invades both Sunday and Tuesday.

However...it is such short week that I think we will all live, n'est ce pas?

 

I had such a hard time getting up this morning. I hit the snooze on two different alarms for 1hr 15min. I have to keep telling myself that it is only a three day week.

 

When I was at work on Friday and it was slow the oldtimers said, "Just wait, Cyber Monday is when we get slammed with tech calls".


Most cringed, yet I shrugged, because today is day one of training and I will be off of the dreaded phones all week.

 

so dreading today. have to work til 8. dont get to work from home for a while. and its gonna be freezing cold when i get out!

 

Couldn't post here this morning thanks to those nothing-better-to-do-with-their-time hacker guys, but rest assured I was cursing the arrival of Monday.

 

Day one of un-assisted second tier tech calls. And its monday. This is gonna be fun!

 

Grrrr.

 

Bad Weekend is spilling over into Bad Monday.

 

What a crappy fracking day. I get to work 12 hour days the next two days. Yay.

 

It's going to be such an overloaded Monday for me.

 

I'm glad to know I'm not by myself in Monday Misery. Loving the company. :/

Hopefully it gets better, for all of us.

Ah, the middle of nowhere.

 

Today will be the real monday for me. Due to the storm in the northeast most of the phone lines were down. They will probably be back up today and all the dingdongs will need to call me because their terminals arent "working".

No better job than tech support to make you despise your fellow man.

 

I don't want to go to work.

 

Headache, day two.

 

Work totally sucked. Because of heavy rain in Socal, everyone's phones are not working. So they pull out their cells and call us.

 

Worked sucked on my end too, Jgoc.


Phone outages are awful things. I had a merchant scream at me for a solid hour, and I finally said, "If you are just gonna push buttons willy nilly, then YOU can fix your terminal." He screamed some more and I hung up on his stupid arse.

 

How is it still Monday? Seriously, I have lost track of the day. I honestly thought it was already Tues night, till I saw this tread near the top and checked the date on the computer.
