I think in sarcasm and righteous indignation.

There's something vaguely unholy about differential equations, though, what with their sinister cohomological roots. I like my arrows going down like all clear-headed individuals, thank you very much.

I made it all the way to the basic-ish post-calc courses, which were linear alg and differential eq. I don't know why, I had just enough competence to squeak by but not nearly enough interest to actually invest time in understanding it. But the thing that gave me the most trouble was in the three-dimensional calc course -- I think they were called "power curves" but they just looked like damn squiggles to me. And I couldn't fathom the squiggles.

Amusingly enough though I did much better with calc in physics, 1. because calc made physics so much easier and 2. it actually related to something concrete instead of this abstract nonsense.

(and now I'll get some sort of mathematical hex placed on me and I'll find myself trapped in some sort of bizarre mathematical set or something)

The highest maths are all letters, no numbers. :p

Words... not letters.... words.... sentences, ideas, theories, discussions, words.

    Pizza is a word.

It's also the formula for the volume of a pizza. Pi z squared a.

    :p

Since when did roman numerals have a zero?
