Sure, if they just release the BTS Galley shows all at once instead of one episode per week.

 

I'd be happy if there wasn't a single man on the show.

People need to stop listening to geniuses like Mike Zeroh.

 

So post TROS then. you can rule out the skywalker saga timeline and old republic and high republic as they are all familiar.

 

Is the High Republic really that familiar when we first heard about it just a few months ago? In any case, I don't expect any post-ST story for a few years at least, when the dust has settled.

 

Well not really, but we know of this era now, but we know it only be books and comics for now. So either way it's none the above and could be anywhere in the timeline.

 

I think it could still be set in the distant past but focusing on other factions than the usual Jedi/Sith/Republic.

 

As long as it is not old republic i can see this show be bridge between the old and high repulbic. or it could simply be not far off TPM.

 

You know, there's always the possibility that this could be set in the same time period as Taika Waiti's film. They were both officially announced the same day, and what better way to promote a new era than to have a deeper dive into that world (TV series) accompanying the Main Event (movie)?

 

I like that but that would mean this show is what 4 years away, wound't that little to long for a show unless they play with era first on the show then with the movie.

 

post-TROS would be interesting. Of course, a post-TROS show could really be about anything, but it being female-led does spring some ideas to mind.

Maybe it's about Jannah, which means Billy Dee can be a series regular. Make it about helping stormtroopers find their old planets or families, and the conflict that arises with the the First Order remnants after their defeat at Exegol.

Could be a Rose-led Resistance series. Though that may be too similar to the Rebellion show we are getting with Cassian.

Or the female lead is a new character.

 

I hope it's set during the High Republic era.

 

So any thoughts on when it will come out? I was guessing 2022-2023
