The artwork that was available at CIV was one of the main highlights of the entire convention for me.

Stunning pieces that made any SW print collection pop.

Can't wait to see what's in store for CV.

 

I cant wait either. CIV had some of the best art of all 4 celebrations IMO.
I just cant wait to see a Bounty Hunter collage with cloud City in the back ground.

 

At C4 the Art section really wasn't on my radar and it should have been! I regret not taking any prints home from C4. So I won't be making the same mistake this year.

My question is, what has been the average cost of a print at the SW Celebrations.

I think I'll have to leave my credit cards behind any time I go into the art show. I was only intending on getting about 3 pieces at C4, walked away with about 8.

 

I hope the attending artists institute the pre-order print reservation option like they did for CIV.

Made acquiring all the prints that we wanted a breeze.

I agree, the artwork has been one of my main focal points. The artistry is just phenomenal.

Just bought a box of Topps Star Wars galaxy cards yesterday and they have a sub set of CIV art work cards in it. Really making me antsy for the artist to start giving us some prints there doing for V!

 

Maybe the artists haven't even been asked yet. According to Katie Cook, she hasn't been asked to artist alley yet. So maybe someone is dragging their feet in getting things together.

 

Chris, With basically 4 months to go, I hope that's not a bad thing.

 

I agree with you. I would be nice to start hearing more and more about all guests, panels, exhibits, basically everything!

 

The first small announcements for CIV started about 3½ month before the event and first guest announcements about 3 month before, so with the first guest announcement about 4½ month before CV I am not worried.

I don't get to attend CV. I am thinking I am going to see if a friend can pick me up something uniquely Padme. I got that awsome print of her at CIV. I can save up and afford that I am sure.
