Yeah, it feels like it was written in the 60's. Galactus gets portrayed as if he is a total idiot because he is "above the ways of man".

 

Agreed. I thought the same thing. I have to hand it to you and your wallet for continuing on with this run.

I am glad you’re enjoying other books though.

 

Up until now it has been quite interesting.

 

I’ve tried it on and off, and it just does not resonate with me. Glad you enjoy it though.

OOPS. I must have missed it. I'll get it on Saturday. I gotta figure out which graphic t-shirt to wear for Free Comic Book Day.

 

So yes now I have Punisher 11.

The store i go to does limit the free comics to 3 unless you donate canned goods as I did, so you get 5. I got The Avengers w/ Savage Avengers, Robotech, Red Sonja, Star Wars May The 4th be With You, another Avengers but with bonus Cap.

Hickman on his Marvel return and plans for X-Men.

 

It's about time. I was ready to dump Marvel altogether when they were trying their unsubtle attempt to replace mutants with the Inhumans in the comics.
There isn't much to dump to reboot the X-titles; most had ended anyways. Only X-force , X-23, and Mr. and Mrs. X, plus the flagship title were left (I'm guessing Hickman doesn't view Deadpool as an X-title ).

Superman and Action comics have been knocking it out of the park. Very enjoyable.

Low owns. They are taking a break for a few months and then bringing it to and end.

Slight problem with Daredevil. His body is giving out on him, he is beat up and not recovered from getting hit by a vehicle. So he's giving up. Well, Iron Fist is in this issue and he can heal others with his chi. Well, c'mon, heal DD.

The writers have a tendency to forget that kind of things what I have seen so my money is on that he won't do it. I do wonder how they are going to put DD back to his normal* setting.

* which I guess now a-days is miserable and having of supporting cast dying on him constantly

 

Or DD dying in some way (physical, spiritual, emotional etc.), only to come back again.

 

What I bought today:

Longshot Saves the Marvel Universe TPB (much better than any of the "[Character] Kills the Marvel Universe" stories, I recommend it if you want a fun read that don't take itself to serius and has a happy ending)
Sleepwalker: Infinity Wars TPB (A fun, action packed read)
Kill Six Billion Demons vol. 3 (action packed weard fantasy that is Worth to buy just for the art)
Royal Boiler an artbook by Brandon Graham

 

Yeah when they first rebooted I thought the X titles were good. For some reason they did a do over and they have been lacking, mostly, since. I think they need this reboot.
