She's got brains and beauty that Padme.

 

I thought there was a little to much talking.

 

She's hardly a Jedi or even a soldier. Having her fight three dozen combat droids with wirework and bullet time would be absurd.

 

worst one yet, the next one will be good.

 

agree, weakest one yet. and didn't really think her 3PO trick was in line with her character....

and I liked the one....

^ Oh come on, he's a DROID for crying out loud. Even if he lost a limb or two its not like he'd be perminately crippled.

Besides, it's Star Wars law that C-3P0 must be decapitated or maimed in every film.

 

masterskywalker, while I agree that he was not in danger, and that it is "law" for him to get maimed in each film, I thought it was out of Padme's character to intentionally put him in harms way.

 

Mmmmmm, Padme.....in catsuit.....

 

We get to see more of the mother-daughter connection in this episode. Both Padmé and Leia face trouble head-on, despite the protestations of others.

Classic Threepio. Acted exactly as he did in the movies, novels, and the Droids cartoon series. And speaking of him, poor Threepio. Yes that was a mean trick Padmé did to him. I laughed when she asked him to pick up her cape. I have to think that Han would have loved his mother-in-law.

I got to see it again on Hyperspace because I didn't catch some of Threepio's and Dooku's lines. But essentially the cave has been destroyed, right? Despite his training, I bet Yoda took that blow very personally. I wonder if he'll remember this when he and Dooku meet up again, assuming they do of course.

Of course, the catsuit. Meow, meow, meow! I don't think I would have noticed the cold if I were accompanying her.

 

They didn't have 3PO's walk down. It was too fairy and not enough fairy-robot.

EDIT: It's about time...

 

I actually liked it. It's more dialog driven than action packed, which is probably why alot don't like it.

One nitpick though. Padme's blaster sound effect is not the same used in TPM.

 

I enjoyed this episode, but I also thought it was a bit out of character for Padmé to put 3PO in danger like that.

She did look groovy in her catsuit though.

 

is anyone else getting a smaller version than normal?
