In both of those scenes, she's backed up by lots of other people who do more of the fighting than she does. She can fight in a pinch, but she's not primarily a fighter. She certainly shouldn't be going alone (R2 and 3PO don't really count) to rescue a Jedi. Think about the films and how many times she's trying to find a "diplomatic" solution to her probelms. She only fights when she must, and if she doesn't back-up, she doesn't stand much of a chance. (I.E. The AOTC Driod Factory scene.)

Well, Yoda had been gone for some time, so she decided to do what any person would do: Go and look for him. It's not that complicated, and really isn't out of character for her (she was the one who spear-headed the re-taking of Naboo in TPM, and she was planning on saving Obi-Wan in AOTC alone...so it's totally within her character to do what she did in this episode). I'm still tryin' to figure out what the big deal here is...but, whatever... *shrugs*

Not a bad episode. I would have liked to see Yoda finish saving the two jedi, and the story of Padme and the droids was a bit of an abrubt turn from all the Jedi action we have seen this season.

This episode and the Super Mace flying episode seem to be the weakest epsiodes. Still good but just something about each was kind of off.

I know that we have different opinions on the myarid issues that the cartoon series has presented, but if we can all agree in one thing, it is that star wars belongs in cartoons. Hopefully, they'll create more epsiodes before episode 3, then finally on to a longer series of cartoons.

does any one think that it would have been wiser to
see in the hologram instead of dooku, a certain droid general. i dont know if im allowed to say his name or not.

i guess we'll see what later episodes have in store for "GG" but i thought this would have been a cool place for yoda to discover his involvement in the clone wars and maybe further the story a bit.

    From dp4m:
And don't ask (or even hint) for links to be PM'd to you either

So how about instead of being a petty theif, you pay like the rest of us or go see the streaming versions at TOS. I hate people who steal things.

    Lay off guys

He probobly doesnt know you have to pay

Or for all you know he lives in the UK like me, we are only just getting the new eps today, episode 10 was just played to remind us were we were and 11 will prolly be later.

Plus why pay when they are coming soon anyway? i really dont see the point, not to mention we have real trouble paying even cents with the diffrence in currency

Im not saying dont flame someone who lives in the US and perpousfully wants to break the law, im saying find out were they live first, plus, on CN.com you dont have to pay, you just have to be in the US 'again'

We UK people are mistreated lol

You can't say we're mistrated when we get 13 chances to see each episode on it's first run, whereas the Americans only get 2.

I think he means the delay in broadcasting the 2nd batch of episodes. It's annoying, but I get them on HS so don't worry about it. If I didn't have, or couldn't get access to HS, then I expect I'd be fairly annoyed.

I think I know who you mean, but how would that have explained who had revealed the temple's location? The way they did it emphasized that the Jedi perceive Dooku as the real threat during the Clone Wars--which keeps them from seeing the danger that is Sidious. I don't think that it would have been a good way to introduce the droid character (although it remains to be seen if his intro later is better).

RE this episode, I liked it okay, but I agree that Typho should have escorted Padme. Padme's use of 3PO reminded me of Leia. It's nice to think Padme has a mischievous side under that bland diplomatic exterior. The movies haven't shown enough of it, frankly. Also, it's not like 3PO is alive. She tricked him, but he's still an appliance and an easily repaired one at that.

Yea i ment the extra wait, plus why would you want to see them more than twice? with the exeption of about 2 so far there are none i really cant remember or feel like watching again

That Padme just likes to jump in and mix it up. The way she used 3PO...shamefull.

But she is a cute little cartoon isn't she?

you make a good point Drath, but dont you think a droid General hired specifically for eliminating jedi would have made more sense in attacking such a personal target such as Illum?

i guess what im trying to say is that Clone Wars season one had its kit fisto episode and season two had its mace windu episode. both stories stray a little from anakin's story but still theyre fun to see.i personally dont think it was necessary to have another set of episodes dedicated to more minor jedi.

also if youre going to feature characters as important as padme and yoda in the series, there should be something that moves the story along in a way that doesnt make the episode seem like pointless eye candy.

do you get what im saying?

I thought it was an excellent episode! One of my favorites.

I'm in the camp that gets frustrated with the lack of talking in this micro-series and I love to listen and see the SW characters develop more.

Also the episode had my LOL with the threepio screams and antics. this chapters tells me that we could have a true 30 minute show and it would be good.

You and I will just have to disagree. Even if I didn't have HS, I think waiting a week to get 13 chances to see each episode is way better than seeing them twice.

Speaking of watching the episodes on TV, do you UK folk get the eps in the correct aspect ratio? Or are the sides cut off like they are in the states?
