My .02 - at least put some distance bewteen the Falcon and Slave I.
The Falcon's senors can pick up a TIE in ANH, but is "blind" to Slave I in ESB? Or have the Falcon jump to light speed prior to Slave i following it.

Boba Fett pro'l'y had some kinda anti-sensor super-cloaking thingy. The only people who were allowed to see him were us, the audience. Why? He cares about each and everyone of us. And if you're all good, he may swoop to your tv to put on what you want tonight.

Nerdly correction: The Falcon can't jump to light speed at this point in the story!

I've always imagined that Slave I had some kind of sensor-cloak that enabled it to follow the Falcon undetected all the way to Bespin.
