- Passing pedestrian, first anniversary of the Toronto Long Line


Two years.
It was a beautiful day as we congregated, Jedi robes and Princess Leia hairdoos, waving light sabers and firing blasters. From the press conference at the Electric Bean, we marched down Eglinton to the York Cinemas, what would very quickly become our home away from home.

Eggs tossed in the night. Strange lessons in philosophy from the late night drunks. Toy runs. The forest moon of Endor. Light saber duels. Songs. Stories. The line was about more than just seeing a movie. It was about the friendships that would be formed. It was about the good times that would be had.

We can hardly allow the anniversary of such a thing to pass by without a celebration now ? can we?

A gathering will be held Saturday May 5th to mark the two year anniversary of the Toronto Long Line. But even more so, this is a pre-emptive kick off to the line for Episode II. Join us as we wax eloquent on the nostalgic past, enjoy the present company of friends and plan away the future.

Sorry Cris, but no. FanForce gives us CityReps very little power at the moment. All we get to do is give our name a funky new colour combination. (in terms of board stuff at least)

Yes it does, it does. I'm hoping that we do indeed get ourselves a new kind of forum in the near future, where they'll give us a little bit of power to correct things like that.
