As for Vader's cape - Are we talking about his tunic though, because sometimes that's over and sometimes that's under? Perhaps he just didn't want his subordinates thinking he wore the same thing everyday and just changed it up a bit?

 

Maybe he ends up retucking it throughout the movie and at the end he just says "***** it we're going untucked."

 

i have no clue how vaders cape position is a continuity issue compared to putting biggs into a battle he couldnt possibly havefought in.

 

Why?

 

Yeah it's really weird how people take more issue with one of the most iconic, studied, and loved film villains of all time and not something from a cut scene of a third tier character.

Next comic con I'll be sure to ask the 100s of picky vader costumers who've spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars making sure to accurately portray vader's specific look in a specific film what their take on it is. I'll also ask the guy that dressed up as Biggs if I can find him.

 

really if you spend 40 years wondering if vader ever changes his fashion sense you all have too much time on your hands.

as for the costumes at comic con.....you answered your own question.

really the look of vader from ANH To ESB to ROTJ to ROTS differs every time.

I didn't really have a question. Just pointing out that its pretty clear why people are more concerned about Vader's look than Biggs showing up. Some people here are equally concerned about both, because at the end of the day we're all fans on a message board talking about 40 year old movies (and the new ones!) so I wouldn't be throwing too much shade about how different fans choose to show their love.

Not traditional as in traditional to SW, but traditional as in the way 99% of movies usually open.

 

yeah well if i had a william shatner on SNL gif i'd probably use it.

im a geek a nerd a loser who sees the movies 10 times in theatres.

i still dont care where vaders cape is positioned.

and people at those conventions will dress up as the most insignifigant characters, so yeah, do be shocked to see a biggs.....

With Vader I could perhaps bring myself to believe that he likes a little alteration in the way he dresses up once in a while,

But I find it harder to believe that Biggs was (already) with the Alliance on Yavin IV but still managed to arrive on Tatooine before Princess Leia. I'm sure the Alliance needed every man and pilot following events in Rogue One, so to let Biggs just go to say farewell to his Tatooine friends and return later looks extremely unrealistic to me.

Hey Biggs, if you just returned to Tatooine to recruit Luke, I think you should have mentioned what you guys just went through and give Luke a good word of advice that something out of the ordinary is happening here....Why didn't you just tell Luke that's a Star Destroyer which probably captured an Alliance vessel and persuade him to come with you before things are going out of control on Tatooine?
